Health Precautions Delegates are advised to be vaccinated for yellow fever and to carry their yellow fever vaccination certificate. Other vaccinations are recommended for hepatitis A and B, typhoid in addition to the routine vaccinations against polio and tuberculosis. Although Nairobi is generally considered to be Malaria free, the disease is endemic to most part of the country. However, you are advised to consult your personal physician before your departure. 7. Arrival and entry formalities All foreign delegates are required to possess a valid passport (validity for at least 6 months) to enter Kenya. Transportation Participants should make their own airport transfers and transports arrangements between their hotels and the meeting venue. Taxis can be found at the airport and the cost of transportation for the Airport to the city centre should be around 15 to 20 euros. Taxis are not metered and it is advised to negotiate the price before. Participants may also negotiate transfers with respective hotels. 9. Lying along the Indian Ocean, at the equator, Kenya is bordered by Ethiopia (north), Somalia (northeast), Tanzania (south), Uganda plus Lake Victoria (west), and Sudan (northwest). However, it is usually cool at night and early in the morning. The shilling is the currency of Kenya. It is divisible into 100 cents. Bien que Nairobi soit en général considérée comme une zone sans paludisme, la maladie est endémique dans la majorité du pays. Il est recommandé de demander conseil à votre médecin. 7.
