Report on Grants and IT Donations (2015) The EIB Institute aims at promoting local philanthropy by channeling support, mainly through grants for eligible initiatives or donations of IT equipment that is no longer used by the EIB Group, to non-profit organisations, local community centres or schools. In 2015, in the framework of the “Small Grants” Initiative, the Institute approved 24 grants, equating to a total of EUR 75 000, for the benefit of 23 different organisations.
