L'atelier de création ibride présente Les Dandys,
une collection particulière de tableaux dont les portraits
charismatiques dissimulent de petits rangements inattendus.
Ces personnages qui cultivent élégance et désinvolture
sont aussi les fidèles gardiens de nos effets personnels.
De côté, sont accessibles livres ou vêtements, objets du quotidien.
Mais on peut aussi entrouvrir la façade
sur un espace de rangement plus intime,
et leur confier même quelques lettres ou objets inavouables
dans une trappe escamotable.
Inspirée des univers de Balzac, Maupassant, Proust ou Flaubert
les Dandys ont chacun leurs secrets, leur histoire…

The ibride creation studio presents
Les Dandys, an exceptional collection of pictures, whose charismatic portraits conceal
the most unexpected storage spaces. These
characters, who cultivate both elegance
and nonchalance, are also the unflinching
guardians of our most personal belongings.
From the side, one has access to books,
clothes, and objects for daily use. But one
can also half open the front of the portraits to reveal a more intimate storage
space… and even entrust them with a few
letters or some undisclosable objects, in a
foldaway hatch. Inspired by the universes
of Balzac, Maupassant, Proust or Flaubert,
Les Dandys each have their secrets and their
past. All of them have been entirely fabricated in France.
