amerikanische Musikrichtung der 50er und frühen 60er
Jahre und das damit verbundene Lebensgefühl. Die im
4/4-Takt gespielte Musik enthält einen deutlichen
Backbeat (starker Akzent auf den geraden Zählzeiten
zwei und vier).
Rock ’n’ Roll ist auch ein dieser Musik verbundenen
Tanz, dessen wesentliche Merkmale die akrobatischen
