Travelling in Ireland
1 A job at a travel agency
a) You are working at a travel agency in London during the summer holidays. Your boss has asked you to
focus on Ireland and deal with all the customers who are planning to spend their holidays there.
Work out attractive routes for:
 a family with two teenage children who want to spend six
days in the most interesting Irish towns
 a young couple who are very much interested in the natural
beauty of Ireland and who are very fond of hiking; they’re
planning a 10-day vacation
 three middle-aged friends who are particularly interested in
the Celtic past of the island; they’re planning to stay for one
week
 two students who want to enjoy themselves by doing fun
activities and by going out
 a newly-wed couple who are looking forward to the “perfect
blend of culture, nature and fun” for their one-week
honeymoon
