Die offizielle Wiederveröffentlichung des Dub-Klassikers "Scientist - Heavyweight Dub Champion" ist als
2CD-Edition mit dreizehn zusätzlichen Tracks im 6-Panel Digipak und ausführlichen Liner Notes erhältlich!
Die Aufnahmen des Originalalbums von 1980 finden sich auf der ersten Disc - sie wurden mit den Musikern
der Roots Radics in Bestbesetzung im Channel One Studio eingespielt und im King Tubby Studio
abgemischt, am Mischpult saß dabei Hopeton Overton Brown, besser bekannt als Scientist. Für die
Produktion zeichnete Henry 'Junjo' Lawes verantwortlich. Auf der zweiten CD finden sich die
dazugehörigen Versionen von Barrington Levy und den Deejays General Echo und Ranking Joe. Für dieses
herausragende Re-Issue Projekt wurde die Top-Adresse, was Audio-Mastering in Europa angeht, die Firma
Soundmasters in London, engagiert. Das dazugehörige Artwork von Tony McDermott hat bis heute nichts
an seiner Faszination verloren. Eine Doppel-CD zum Preis einer CD!

The official and authorised re-issue of the dub classic Heavyweight Dub Champion available as deluxe 2CD
digipak (6-panels with additional booklet) and also double LP-vinyl set and poster insert. The original album
from 1980 has been state-of-the-art remastered and is twinned with a second disc of the original vocal
versions and a selection of DeeJay cuts, including tracks making their CD debut. All music recorded at
Channel One with the Roots Radics and mixed by Scientist at King Tubby’s studio with producer Henry
