Die offizielle Wiederveröffentlichung des Dub Klassikers "Scientist Rids The World Of The Evil Curse Of The
Vampires" ist als 2CD-Edition mit zwölf zusätzlichen Tracks im 6-Panel Digipak und ausführlichen Liner
Notes erhältlich! Die Aufnahmen des Originalalbums von 1981 finden sich auf der ersten Disc, sie wurden
mit den Musikern der Roots Radics in Bestbesetzung im Channel One Studio eingespielt und im King Tubby
Studio abgemischt. Am Mischpult saß Hopeton Overton Brown, besser bekannt als Scientist, und für die
Produktion zeichnete Henry "Junjo" Lawes verantwortlich. Auf der zweiten CD finden sich die
dazugehörigen Versionen der Sänger u.a. von Johnny Osbourne, Wayne Jarrett, Michael Prophet und den
Wailing Souls, sowie Deejay Cuts von Toyan und Yellowman & Fathead. Für dieses herausragende Re-Issue
Projekt wurde die Top-Adresse, was Audio-Mastering in Europa angeht, die Firma Soundmasters in London,
engagiert. Das dazugehörige Artwork von Tony McDermott hat bis heute nichts an seiner Faszination

The official re-issue of the dub classic The Evil Curse Of The Vampires available as deluxe 2CD digipak with
additional booklet (and also as 20-track double LP-vinyl set with poster). The original album from 1981 has
been state-of-the-art remastered and is twinned with a second disc of the original vocal versions and a
selection of DeeJay cuts.All music is recorded at Channel One with the Roots Radics and mixed by Scientist
