300 Kleindarsteller_innen für eine internationale
Videoproduktion gesucht
Im November 2013 wird in Berlin “Speaking in tongues” eine Multi
Screen Videoinstallation des niederländischen Medienkünstlers
Aernout Mik präsentiert. Aernout Mik, dessen Arbeiten schon in großen
Einzelausstellungen unter anderem im MoMA in New York und auf der
Venedig Biennale zu sehen waren, zählt zu den renommiertesten
Künstlern der Gegenwart

“Speaking in tongues” setzt sich filmisch mit transnationalen religiösen
Massenbewegungen auseinander, die einerseits dem Einzelnen
Selbstbefreiung und Wohlstand versprechen, während sie zeitgleich als
Kapitalgesellschaften operieren und soziales und urbanes Leben ganzer
Städte und Regionen in ihrem Sinne formen.
Die Installation setzt sich im Wesentlichen aus drei Filmenteilen die in Lagos (Nigeria), Rio de Janiero
(Brasilien)und Berlin(Deutschland) erarbeitet werden zusammen, die im November zu einer
Videoinstallation kombiniert werden.
Der Cast für die Dreharbeiten am 9. , 10, und 11 Juli in Berlin besteht aus herausragenden
deutschen und niederländischen Schauspielern. Als Hauptagierende werden für den 9. Juli 300
Schauspieler_innen und ambitionierte Kleindarsteller_innen und für den 10. und 11. Juli jeweils 80
Mitwirkende gesucht. Alle Darsteller_innen müssen im selbstmitgebrachten Geschäftsanzug / kostüm mit passendem Schuhwerk erscheinen.
Honorar:
Die Darsteller_innen erhalten pro absolvierten Drehtag(max.10h) 50€ Aufwandsentschädigung. Allen
Mitwirkenden wird ein Catering zur Verfügung gestellt.
Anforderungen:
Es werden 300 Schauspieler_innen und ambitionierte Kleindarsteller_innen im Alter von 18 bis 65
Jahren gesucht. Die Darsteller_innen müssen für alle Termine ihr Kostüm eigenständig mitbringen,
dazu gehören ein Geschäftsanzug, ein gebügeltes Hemd und entsprechende Schuhe.

Termine:
Das Casting ist am Samstag den 22. und Sonntag den 23. im Haus der Kulturen der Welt. Dauer zirka
30 Minuten. Die Dreharbeiten finden am 9., 10., und 11. Juli ganztägig(10h) statt.

Video Production
In November 2013 dutch media artist Aernout Mik will be presenting his new
Multi-Screen-Videoinstallation, “Speaking in tongues”, in Berlin.
Aernout Mik who is well known for his solo exhibitions at the MoMa New York and the Venice
Biennale ranks among the most prestigious artists of the present.

Promissing self liberation and prosperity to the individual while operating as joint-stock companies
transnational religious mass movements are modifying society and contemporary urban lifestyles
of whole cities and regions to suit their own.
“Speaking in tongues” addresses these issues by the use of the medium of film and performance.
The final installation mainly consists of the three film parts produced in Lagos (Federal Republic of
Nigeria), Rio de Janiero(Brazil)and Berlin(Germany) which will be merged into an video installation
in November.
The cast for the shooting on July the 9th, 10th and 11th in Berlin will essentially be composed with
the help of outstanding German and Dutch actors and actresses.
To finalize the cast of key players we are looking for 300 actors/actresses/ambitious performers for
the date of July the 9th and 80 actors/actresses and ambitious performers for the 10th and 11th of
July. All participants will have to bring their own business suit and shoes.
Fee:
The allowance for the performers is 50€ for each shooting day (max.10h).
Catering is provided for all participants.
Requirements:
We are looking for 300 actors/actresses and ambitious performers from the age of 18 to the age of
65. They'll have to bring their outfit for all dates on their own.
The outfit consists of an business suit, an ironed shirt and appropriate shoes.
