GENSB 2011:
The Tug of War Club Nottwil has been organizing the 14th edition of this year’s tournament due
to their 30th anniversary of their club foundation.
The tournament will take place in Sursee this year, namely in the heart of Switzerland.
The accommodation and the tournament grounds are both located inside the area of the
Campus Sursee.
Registration:
All competitors must register themselves on the website www.gensb.eu.
Final Term of registration:
All registrations must be made from all competitors by the 31st Mai 2011 on the website
www.gensb.eu.
Accommodation:
There are lots of beds available for lodging at the Campus Sursee as well as at the Boys Scout’s
house in Sursee (10 minutes by foot to the grounds). Every competitor must take a sleeping
bag with them for the night’s stay.
Tournament ground:
The tournament ground will be situated next to the main road between the villages Sursee and
Willisau. This means only four minutes will it take you by foot to get there from the main
accommodation of the Campus Sursee. The scales will also only be 2 strolling minutes away
from the tournament ground.
Money:
Upon the whole duration of the tournament payments can only be setled with money in Swiss
Francs. Unfortunately there is no cash deposit machine nearby the area. Please take enough
money in the currency of the Swiss Franc with you upon arrival.
Costs:
Participation of persons coming from a GENSB country costs 82.50 €
Participation of persons from other countries costs 70 €
The entry fee per team costs 50 €
The deposit for each participating group will be 100 €
Cash deposit:
All participating teams have to hand over an advanced cash deposit. This should be included
with the participation fee payments. The teams will receive their cash deposit in return at the
GENSB office when no special casualties have occurred and the rooms have been checked
before departing back home.

How to get there:
By car/ rentbus/ coach:
Comming with your car, rentbus or coach to get to the Campus Sursee you can drive along the
motorway A2/E35 – take the exit N°20 with "Sursee" written on the board and keep following the
signs on the main roads mentioning "Huttwil/ Willisau – The sign with „Campus Sursee“ will then
follow shortly to quide to your destination.
Destination for navigational systems: Leidenbergstrasse, 6208 Oberkirch
Parking spaces will be sign posted on site.
By train:
It's a quarter of an hour walk from the railway station or you can take the bus heading for "Ettiswil /
Willisau" which runs hourly and get off at the stop "Campus Sursee" or if your lucky, you can get the
direct bus line to the Campus Sursee which runs half hourly on peak times.
By aeroplane:
It will take you about an hour from both airports from Zurich or Basel to get to Sursee by train. From
there see the info above "by train".

GENSB 2011:
Der Seilziehclub Nottwil organisiert die 14. Ausgabe dieses Turniers anlässlich seines 30 jährigen
Bestehens.
Das Turnier findet in Sursee, im Herzen der Schweiz, statt.
Die Unterkünfte und der Turnierplatz befinden sich auf dem Areal des Campus Sursee.
Anmeldung:
Alle Teilnehmer müssen sich über die Internetseite www.gensb.eu anmelden.
Anmeldeschluss:
Es müssen sich alle Teilnehmer bis am 31. Mai 2011 auf der Internetseite www.gensb.eu
angemeldet haben.
Unterkunft:
Für die Übernachtungen stehen im Campus Sursee und im Pfadiheim Sursee (10 Minuten zu
Fuss) Betten zur Verfügung. Die Teilnehmer müssen zum übernachten einen Schlafsack
mitbringen.
Turnierplatz:
Der Turnierplatz befindet sich an der Hauptstrasse zwischen Sursee und Willisau. Er ist von der
Unterkunft in rund 4 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Waage ist 2 Gehminuten vom Turnierplatz
entfernt.
Geld:
Während dem ganzen Wochenende kann nur mit CHF bezahlt werden. Es ist kein Bankomat in
der Nähe vorhanden. Bitte nehmen Sie genügend Geld in CHF mit.
Kosten:
Die Teilnahme pro Person aus einem GENSB Land kostet 82.50 €
Die Teilnahme pro Person aus einem Gastland kostet 70 €
Das Startgeld pro Mannschaft beträgt 50 €
Das Depot pro teilnehmende Gruppe beträgt 100 €
Depot:
Alle teilnehmenden Gruppen müssen ein Depotgeld bezahlen. Dieses wird zusammen mit den
anderen Einzahlungen einbezahlt. Die Gruppen bekommen ihr Depotgeld nach der
Zimmerkontrolle und bei keinen Vorkommnissen, im GENSB Office zurück.
