Possibility 3: letter of credit
Level421 requires international customers (not located with permanent residence in Germany) who
sign airtime capacity contracts of 12, 24 or 36 months, to hand in a letter of credit from their bank
on the amount of the total airtime contract – minus the initially prepaid 3 month deposit.
This is required for all airtime contracts above monthly 1000 € or 1500 USD.
This letter of credit must arrive latest 10 days after your satellite system has been activated to
ensure service continuity and in order to confirm your satellite capacity booking.
NOTE: In case this letter of credit not arrives in time Level421 reserves the right to withdraw the
satellite airtime capacity contract with immediate effectiveness and to allocate the satellite capacity
to another customer.
The following information is intended for your bank – so they do have the required information on
hand to open a letter of credit in favor of level421. Please forward this information to your bank.

Explanation:
The L/C is supposed to cover satellite level421 artime contracts after the initial 3 month
deposit which is required to be paid upfront runs out. The L/C has the purpose to lock down
the capacity booked by the customer for the contractual chosen timeframe of either 12, 24 or
36 month.
The initial first 3 month for airtime contracts are required to get paid upfront before service
can get activated. The remaining 9 months of for example a 12 month contract is then
covered by L/C.
Level421 generally asks for L/Cs if the monthly airtime contract amount exceeds 1000 € or
equivalent 1500 USD.
Customers can activate the service with the 3 month airtime deposit only. However once this
successfully has been processed – the L/C requires to be on file at level421 maximum 10
working days after the activation timeframe for the remaining 9 months.
Contracts which do not get confirmed on the full contractual period will be declared as null
and void and customer looses the capacity after the initial paid 3 months.

berücksichtigen Sie, dass die Bestätigung Ihrer Bank erforderlich ist. Lastschriften ohne diese

Level421 offers the possibility to pay outstanding airtime (no hardware) via PayPal. As PayPal accepts
also credit cards, via this way payment via Credit Card is possible as well. Due to the high charges
Paypal asks – level421 requires customers to cover banking fees in their payment via PayPal as of the

Notes: The largest payment accepted via Paypal is 5000 €. Do not forget to include the above charges.
Do mind that payment via PayPal is ONLY possible for Airtime. Not for Hardware. Note that payments via
PayPal are ONLY accepted in EURO currency ! It is mandatory that you facilitate your payment via PayPal
in a way that EURO currency does arrive. We do not accept USD currency via this payment way.

Level421 offers the possibility to pay outstanding airtime and Hardware via Western Union. Due to the
charges which do apply with Western Union, level421 requires customers to cover banking fees in their
payment with Western Union as of the following:

charges. Note that payments via Western Union are ONLY accepted in EURO currency ! It is mandatory
