Nathalie Gagnon listens closely to her clients’ needs, allowing her to identify a
transaction’s main challenges. She brings an extraordinary amount of energy to
every one of her les.
Nathalie Gagnon is one of the co-leaders of the Mergers & Acquisitions team. Over
the last 15 years, Nathalie has represented many businesses and their executives in
connection with the negotiation and conclusion of purchases and sales of private
corporations. Her proactive approach allows each of Nathalie’s clients to feel that
they are her top priority, regardless of the nature of the transaction, the size of the
business or its sector of activities.
She also assisted businesses and nancial institutions in connection with corporate
nancing and strategic investments, developing particular expertise in leveraged
buyouts.
Nathalie has a special interest in transactions set-up to ensure the successful
transition of ownership of a business, whether through employee incentives or
management buyouts. Working closely with her clients, she measures the nancial,
strategic and emotional impacts of their decisions.
Over the years, Nathalie has taken a deeper interest in business practices and,
accordingly, in shareholders’ agreements, which can prevent many disputes. She
therefore works with entrepreneurs and investors in negotiating and drafting such
agreements.
In 2014, Nathalie received one of Canada’s most coveted and prestigious legal
awards, Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 . This award is
considered by many in the legal community to be one of the most important in the
country.
