Indications et remarques
Les soins dentaires sont le traitement de première intention.
La prescription d’un antibiotique n’est nécessaire qu’en cas d’abcès dentoosseux (GRADE 2C).
Choix de l’antibiotique
En première intention : (GRADE 2C)
- amoxicilline 1-2 g par jour en 3 ou 4 prises pendant 3-5j
En cas d’allergie à la pénicilline IgE médiée : (GRADE 2C)
- clarithromycine
500-1 000 mg par jour en 2 prises pendant 5-7j
- azithromycine 500 mg par jour en 1 prise pendant 3j
- roxithromycine
300 mg par jour en 2 prises pendant 7j
- métronidazole
1,5 g par jour en 3 prises pendant 7j
Alternative en cas d’extension locale importante : (GRADE 2C)
- clindamycine 1,8 g par jour en 3 prises pendant 3-5j
