On regroupe là les travaux qui posent la question du désengagement de manière globalisante, soit à
partir d’approches macro sociales fondées sur l’identification de mouvements historiques (crise(s)
de la participation, cycles d’attention aux problèmes publics), soit à partir d’un modèle biologique
visant à rapporter le désengagement aux étapes du cycle de vie, les deux se combinant parfois.
