MCA Cross Border Advisors Inc. is a rapidly growing specialized cross border financial planning practice. The firm develops
cross border financial plans to help Canadians moving to the U.S. and Americans in Canada achieve their goals in the areas of
taxation, estate planning, retirement, health coverage, insurance, investment management and immigration. Our cross border
financial planning process creates the path from one country to the other, allowing clients to take advantage of opportunities and
avoid costly mistakes. We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Planner to join our team of cross border professionals.
This opportunity allows the successful candidate to join a growing niche practice and has the potential to develop into a leadership
role.
Position Summary:
Creation of Cross-Border Financial Plans:

Discussion of goals and objectives with clients
Data gathering and fact finding
Written analysis and recommendations
Provide findings related to cross border issues affecting the client’s financial plan
Create cross-border financial plans and memos based on client goals and objectives
Implementation & Monitoring:
-
Implementation and monitoring of Financial Plan
Proactively follow-up with clients to address their questions and concerns regarding their financial plan
Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to ensure clients experience exceptional service and have all of their
financial needs meet
Firm Publications & Financial Planning Tools

Contribute to Firm publications
Formation for financial analysis tools
Business Development

Demonstrate active participation within financial planning industry
Travel and speak at seminars where MCA Cross Border Advisors Inc. are the keynote speakers
Market MCA’s unique services to established network of professionals
Identify opportunities for business development
Qualifications:

Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
Committed to continuing education and professional development
2 - 3 years of experience in a financial planning role
Hardworking, professional, outgoing and entrepreneurial
Demonstrate PC literacy, including financial planning software and Microsoft Office
Educational Requirements
A Financial Planning accreditation such as:

IQPF (Quebec)
US Designation in Financial Planning or equivalent

recherche d’un(e) planificateur financier/planificatrice financière expérimenté(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe de professionnels.
Cette opportunité permettra au (à la) candidat(e) choisi(e) d'adhérer à une pratique de la planification financière dans un domaine
spécialisé et pourra déboucher sur un rôle de premier plan.
Responsabilités:
Création des plans financiers transfrontaliers

Discuter des objectifs avec le client
Collecte des données et des faits
Rédaction de l’analyse et des recommandations
Fournir les conclusions d’analyse relatives aux éléments transfrontalières qui affectent le plan financier du client
Créer des plans financiers transfrontaliers et des memoranda basés sur les objectifs du client
Mise en oeuvre et suivi:

Mise en oeuvre et suivi du plan financier
Suivi proactif avec le client pour répondre à leurs questions et préoccupations au sujet de leur plan financier
Travailler en collaboration avec d’autres collègues et professionnels afin de s’assurer que les clients obtiennent un service
exceptionnel et que tous leurs besoins financiers soient comblés
Publications et outils de planification financière

Être un membre actif de l’industrie de la planification financière

Identifier des opportunités de développement
Qualifications:

Parfaitement bilingue anglais-français à l’oral et à l’écrit
Excellente communication, de gestion et d’organisation du temps
Engagé et motivé à faire de la formation continue et du développement professionnel
2 – 3 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de planification financière
Démontrer une compréhension technique, y compris des logiciels de planification financière et de Microsoft Office
