ASL PORT GRIMAUD II
M. LIONEL PETER – DIRECTEUR DE L’ASL DE PORT GRIMAUD 2
Un nouveau directeur est arrivé depuis le 23 mai 2016. Il s’agit de M. Lionel PETER.
Agé de 55 ans, M. PETER a effectué une carrière d’officier de Marine pendant 30
ans. Pilote de chasse sur porte-avions et engagé comme tel sur de nombreux
théâtres d’opérations, il a aussi été amené à exercer dans des domaines aussi
complexes que variés comme la gestion de projets, y compris à l’international, la
gestion financière, la négociation de contrats, la sécurité et la qualité.
Chef de projet chez Airbus Helicopters les quatre années précédant sa venue,
M. PETER assurera la direction générale de l’ASL de Port Grimaud II, la gestion des
ressources humaines, la supervision des finances et assurera la sécurité des biens et
des personnes. Représentant du président de l’ASL, M. TROEGELER, dont il dépend
directement, Il est chargé de recevoir les propriétaires ou, bien entendu, les membres
du syndicat.
Nous lui souhaitons pleine réussite dans ses nouvelles fonctions.
Pour mieux profiter de PORT GRIMAUD
Nous vous rappelons quelques règles simples afin que la vie au sein de Port
Grimaud soit la plus agréable possible. Ceci concerne également les locataires. Il
est de la responsabilité des propriétaires d'informer leurs locataires à ce sujet :
respecter la limitation de vitesse dans les canaux, utiliser les places de parking
qui leur sont attribuées, ne jamais se garer dans la rue et respecter le voisinage.
Egalement, il est interdit de pêcher ou de nager dans les canaux. En cas de
problème, n'hésitez pas à contacter la sécurité.
RAPPEL AU SUJET DES ASSURANCES
Nous vous rappelons que chaque propriètaire
d’appartement ou maison est tenu de souscrire
auprès de la compagnie de son choix une
assurance multirisques.
TELEVISION
Si vous ne recevez aucune chaîne française, il
faut ajouter un décodeur TNT ou mettre à jour votre
TV. L'ASL peut vous venir en aide si besoin.

(coupelles des pots de fleurs) et si vous avez une
piscine pensez à vérifier le bon fonctionnement du
filtre.
50E ANNIVERSAIRE DE PORT GRIMAUD
Il y a une exposition pour célébrer le 50e
anniversaire de l'octroi du permis de construire
de Port Grimaud. Elle se déroule du 14
Juin au 14 Juillet à la Maison Commune en
face de l'église de Port Grimaud 1.

ASL PORT GRIMAUD II
OUR NEW DIRECTOR, M.LIONEL PETER
A new director of our ASL - Mr. Lionel Peter (55) - was appointed on 23rd May.
Mr. Peter, spent 30 years in the French navy and during his career he was a fighter
pilot on aircraft carriers in many theatres of operation. He also worked in other areas
for the navy including international and financial management, negotiating contracts,
safety and quality. After his navy career he joined Airbus Helicopters as a Project
Manager where he stayed for four years. Mr. Peter has lived on the south coast of
France for over 30 years.
In his role as the new director, his responsibilities include human resource
management, financial oversight and the safety of property and people. He reports to
the elected Conseil Sydicat and our President, Mr Troegeler. Mr.Peter is happy to talk
through any problems or suggestions owners may have and we wish him every
success in his new role.
AN ENJOYABLE LIFE FOR ALL
Owners are reminded about the regulations which are designed to make life in Port Grimaud
pleasant for all. These rules also apply to renters, and it is the responsibility of owners to
ensure their renters know the rules. Observing the speed limit in the canals, only using
designated parking places, respecting the privacy of neighbours and not ever parking in the
street will ensure a more enjoyable time for all. Also it is forbidden to swim or fish in the
canals. Please inform security if you are having any problems. Copies of the latest version of
the ‘Bulletin’ are available in the ASL office.
TELEVISION
Even though we have installed a substantially larger
satellite dish, we are still having reception problems with
UK terrestrial television, predominantly BBC1 & 2. This is
a problem all over the Var. If you have done a ‘retune’ on
your television recently, please check electronic program
guide (EPG) on your set as on some televisions the
channel numbers may not match the numbers on the
listing available from the ASL office. Sometimes BBC1
may appear on a channel around 800. If you cannot
receive any French channels you will need to add a TNT
decoder box, or update your television. Please ask in the
ASL office for advice on this.

MOSQUITOES
By the time you receive this
newsletter, all the gardens in
Port Grimaud 2 will have
been sprayed with biocides
to control mosquitoes.
Mosquitoes are encouraged
by stagnant water so if possible do not leave any
standing water on your terrace, for instance in
flower pot saucers. If you have a pool, please
ensure the filtering equipment is running all the time
and is regularly maintained

can lead to a claim from a neighbour..
50TH ANNIVERSARY PORT GRIMAUD
There is an exhibition in the Maison Commune near
the church in Port Grimaud 1 to celebrate the 50th
anniversary of the granting of planning consent of
Port Grimaud, It runs from 14thJune to 14th July.
