You will travel by train for your excursions, so you depart from and return to Lime Street
Station. *Meet your supervisor outside BurgerKing, inside the station

Meet your group at Hatters. At 9.00 your teachers will meet your group and
the Italian group and take you to the Welcome Meeting. You will then take a
written English test to determine your level and your class, followed by
lessons then a break for lunch
In the afternoon you will have orientation of Liverpool then return to Hatters
for 4pm for collection by Host Families.
Full day excursion to Manchester* Meet by Burger King at 9.00 to take the
9.27 train to Deansgate. Visit the Museum of Science and Industry. See full
sized planes and walk through sewers!! Have your lunch before walking to the
shopping centre. You will have free time before taking the train at Piccadilly
at 17.07, arriving in Liverpool at 17.59
Day with Host Family- check with your family for the plan for the day.
English lessons followed by a Canoe Safari From the Queens dock to the
Albert dock through the docks of Liverpool.
English lessons followed by climbing at Awesome Walls, where you will
learn the basics of climbing , rope work, belaying, and abseiling.
English lessons followed by a cultural tour of Liverpool
Travel pass renewal day - bring your travel pass today and have a new date
put on it.
Evening activity– Meet outside Central Station at either 7pm, to travel to
Waterloo to meet rest of group at Waterloo station at 7.20pm for Plaza
Cinema visit
English lessons followed by a visit to Jungle Parc at Croxteth- enjoy rope
bridges and zip wires.
English lessons followed by instruction in Sailing or Windsurfing at Queens
Dock
Full day excursion to Blackpool (9 -6) by train. * Meet by Burger King at 9.15
for 9.28 train to the fun-fair in Blackpool where you will have all day to go on
the rides with our wristbands. From white-knuckle water rides to The Big One
– one of Europe’s tallest rollercoasters! Meet at 4.00 for return train at 16.22
to Liverpool for 18.28
Day with Host Family- check with your family for the plan for the day
English lessons followed by climbing at Awesome Walls to practice the skills
learnt in your first session.
Evening farewell disco at Hatters 8-10pm
