Sequalum (a subsidiary of Numericable Group) and SFR sign an agreement to connect
160 000 households with very high speed broadband (THD)
5 December 2013 – In the framework of the regional digital roll-out project (THD Seine) lead by the Regional
Council of the Hauts-de-Seine, which aims to make very high speed broadband accessible to all by year 2015,
Sequalum (a subsidiary of Numericable Group) and SFR have signed an agreement which will enable the
connection of 160 000 households in 10 municipalities of the Hauts-de-Seine region.
Hence, through the very high speed network (THD Seine) implemented by Sequalum, SFR will launch in the
coming months very high speed broadband offers to the 160 000 households in the region connected to the
network. The ten municipalities concerned by this agreement are:

About SEQUALUM
A joined subsidiary of Numericable Group and SFR Collectivités, Sequalum was created to organize the design, implementation,
exploitation and commercialization of a very high speed optical fiber infrastructure covering the entire Hauts de Seine region for
both residential and corporate customers. Introduced by the Regional Council of the Hauts-de-Seine, this ambitious project – in
which Sequalum provides a public service as a « building operator » - aims to connect all residents of the Hauts de Seine region to
an optical fiber network by the end of 2015. Its objective is to improve the level of its public service, strengthen the
competitiveness of the region and support job creation in the digital economy.
