Michèle Costafrolaz-Tissot
Senior Audit Partner, Deloitte
Michèle Costafrolaz joined Deloitte – Paris in 1977 and was transferred to Geneva in 1984.
Michèle has over 30 years experience in public accounting. Responsible for large audit engagements both at a local and international level, Michèle is the partner responsible for IAS/IFRS
issues as well as consolidation services. She specialized in valuations of companies and due
diligence services. During these 24 years at Deloitte Geneva, Michèle also launched the audit
training committee, the IFRS technical committee, she devoted herself to recruitment and surely
to personnel assessment and promotion. Put into a nutshell, she patiently contributed to the
chemistry that makes Deloitte Suisse romande so unique.

Kristin Engvig
Founder and director W.I.N. global forum, Women’s International Networking
Kristin started to work with women in 1994 when she took on the role as President of the
Professional Women’s Association in Milan. As a social entrepreneur she founded W.I.N. in 98
in Milan believing “women have a vital role to play in shaping the future” and “wishing to bring
a more feminine, global and sustainable vision to work, communities and life”. The idea,
an annual conference aimed to empower, develop and connect women leaders with this vision
and a platform to connect international women’s networks for year around networking came
about. She is leading the leadership journey at W.I.N. and has designed and written the visionary
programs of all W.I.N. forums. She has marketed, raised funds and built up the organization from
her kitchen to what it now represents: a globally renowned organization. Kristin is an innovative
thinker, known for picking up trends early and encouraging women to live creatively and shape
their own future. She is a speaker on topics such as leadership, empowerment, networking
and entrepreneurship. Kristin has worked in global companies (JPMorgan, Citibank, Norwegian
export council) and as international consultant and trainer (strategy, intercultural management

and marketing/market research) in Western and Eastern Europe as well as Japan. She holds
Msc degree in Business and Marketing from (HA/BI) Oslo and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan.
She has travelled extensively and worked with women from all continents. In 2006 she was finalist
for the European Women of Achievement Award. Art is central in her life and she has studied and
practiced acting, creativity, yoga and Zen for a number of years. She is the mother of Leonardo,
7 years old. She lives in Europe.
Piero Grandi
Managing Director Lloyds TSB International Private Banking
Piero Grandi was appointed Managing Director of International Private Banking in May 2008.
Since 2003 he managed his own consultant firm in Geneva, served as a Director on two International Boards and operated as an entrepreneur in Italy.
Piero has an academic background in Economics. He joined Citibank in Rome in 1976 as an
executive trainee to Board. He has held various positions with Citigroup in Rome, Milan, London,
Frankfurt, Naples and New York and was an Executive Committee member of Banco Centrosud
and Head of the Consumer and Private Banking business until 1989.
Piero worked for American Express for 10 years in various locations (Paris, London & Milan),
progressing from CEO for Italy to Head of International Personal Financial Services and Insurance,
covering 29 countries.
Patrick Hendier
Directeur IBM Suisse Romande
Diplômé de l’Institut Universitaire des Hautes Etudes Internationales ainsi que d’un MBA
à l’Université de Genève, Patrick Hendier rentre chez IBM au début des années 90, y suit
une formation de vente avant de s’occuper d’une quinzaine de grands comptes en Suisse
romande. En 1997, il prend en charge le secteur PME d’IBM Suisse romande et, dans le cadre
de ses fonctions, accompagne de nombreuses entreprises lors du passage à l’an 2000.
Lorsqu’en 2001 le groupe WebSphere est constitué à Zurich, Patrick Hendier en devient
le responsable. Trois ans plus tard, au printemps 2004, il prend la Direction d’IBM en Suisse
romande. Marié et père de 3 filles, il est aussi diplômé en Piano du Conservatoire Populaire
de Genève.
Rudi Huber
President, Alcoa European Region
Rudi Huber was named President, Alcoa European Region in May 2006. He coordinates Alcoa’s
activities and profile across Europe, where the company has approximately 70 facilities in 15
countries, more than 30,000 employees, and 2007 revenues totaling approximately $7.5 billion.
Rudi joined Alcoa in 1981 in Lausanne, Switzerland as credit manager for Europe, progressing
to treasurer, European region in 1986. Two years later, he moved to Pittsburgh where he held
several positions in the Finance organization until being named assistant treasurer in 1991.
He returned to Lausanne a year later as director of finance and administration, Europe and
chief financial officer for Alcoa Italia. In 1997 he moved to Perth, Western Australia as executive
director of finance for Alcoa of Australia. He returned to the U.S. in 2000 as vice president of
Alcoa and CIO and moved to New York in 2003. Rudi received a finance and management degree
in 1975 from the School for Commerce in Lucerne and a second degree in higher economics
in 1982 from the Institute for Management Education, Berne, Switzerland. He was named
a fellow of the U.K. Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 1998. Rudi was born
on February 27, 1954 in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Antonio Palma
Associé commanditaire, membre du comité exécutif de Mirabaud
Né en 1956 à Madrid, Antonio Palma a obtenu un diplôme d’architecte en 1977 avant de s’orienter
vers la banque et la finance. Il commence sa carrière à la Banque Populaire Suisse, à Lausanne,
puis chez Pricewaterhouse et United Overseas Bank à Genève. En 1993, Antonio Palma rejoint
la banque Mirabaud, dont il est aujourd’hui Associé commanditaire et membre du Comité Exécutif
et dont il sera Associé dès le 1er janvier 2010.
Jean-Christophe Pernollet
Associé, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Jean-Christophe Pernollet is the partner in charge of the Geneva office of PricewaterhouseCoopers
(PwC). A graduate from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble, holding a Master in Management
from EDHEC, he has completed the New York Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program. With eighteen years of working experience, of which three in Paris and two in New York,
Jean-Christophe is a financial services industry specialist leading PwC audit practice for financial
institutions in the French and Italian speaking parts of Switzerland. PricewaterhouseCoopers,
the global Assurance, Advisory and Tax and Legal Services leading firm, employs close to
350 people in Geneva in those three service lines.
Marianne Petitpierre
Responsable du développement Corporate, IMD
Marianne joined IMD, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), in May 2001,
as a Corporate Development Assistant. She graduated in Marketing in April 2008 and has a qualification in literature she earned in 1995. Marianne is responsible for supporting one of IMD’s
three Executive Directors, and works closely in a consulting, sales and marketing role with IMD
clients in Switzerland and Germany.Prior to joining IMD, Marianne worked for seven years in
the hotel industry. She was born in 1977 in Montreux, and has been an air rifle competitor and
coach for 10 years until 1997 at both national and international levels.
Doris Pfister
Directrice des Ressources et Support Opérationnel, ICRC
Director of Resources and Operational Support “More often than not, it is people who make the
difference. As Director of Resources and Operational Support, I will strive to create the conditions
in which all staff members can put their skills and motivation at the service of conflict victims
and thereby provide them with the best possible assistance. My aim is to encourage innovation
and creativity without sacrificing good management practices.”
Doris Pfister, born in 1956, holds a B.A. in economics and an M.Sc. in organizational behaviour.
She began her career at the ICRC in 1989 after initially working as a journalist. Following
assignments as a delegate in Israel and the occupied and autonomous territories, Sri Lanka
and Cambodia, Ms Pfister carried out various tasks relating to ICRC cooperation with the rest
of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and held headquarters posts
in the Press Division and the Department of Operations. In 2002 she was appointed deputy head
of the Division of Finance and Administration.
