BECOME A:
VIDEO GAME PRODUCER
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
VIDEO GAME PRODUCT MANAGER
PROJECT MANAGER
Video games and digital entertainment are not only “dream” sectors but also very successful businesses registering in these last few
years a two-digit economic growth (18% increase in value in France in 2008 – Source GFK). With world business figures of more than 30
billion euros, the video game industry is now worth more than the movie industry.
However, this industry is still maturing and thus today requires a high level of training in order to raise the level of professionalism, to
define and recognise the competencies needed and to insure the industry's adaptability to new technologies and e-commerce. To be a
successful professional in the video game industry it is not only necessary to have creative ideas and technical expertise but also possess
a full understanding of the demands of this evolving market and to have an international dimension to your career.
« The video game today, represents the visible face of a
still emerging digital entertainment market. Advances in
the areas of artificial intelligence, 3D interfaces, enhanced
reality, etc. have become increasingly defined.
To
understand these future technologies and have a vision of
the convergence of media are key contributions of the Video
Game Management MBA Programme ».
Jean- Claude Heudin, Director of IIM's Interactive
Media Laboratory and author of “Artificial Creatures”
Editions Odile Jacob.
« With the tremendous increase in downloading, on-line
games, and “casual” gaming, digital entertainment is in full
mutation and offers important growth opportunities with new
distribution methods. The Video Game Management MBA
allows managers and future managers to master the many
aspects of e-marketing in order to better adapt to these
evolving markets ».
Carole Faure, Director of IIM's Video Game

the person that knows their strengths and then
builds relationships to become the whole. It is on
this promise that the MBA Video Game has been
created: to offer the opportunity of successful
professionals to meet their equals, learn from
others and open international opportunities. »

« With more than 12 years existence, the
IIM has grown in sync with the digital revolution, the dream vector becoming a
worldwide industry in full growth. We have
also worked on defining this MBA in correlation with our existing alumni network
