ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Who are we ?
TECSOL Antilles is present in Guadeloupe,
Martinique and French Guiana since 1996 and
regularly carry out missions throughout the
West Indies (Saint- Martin, Saint- Barthélémy ...).
Initially focused on solar energy, the business
has expanded over the years to all the building
fluid missions while keeping an activist aspect
on Renewable Energy, Energy Conservation and
High Environmental Quality. To date, TECSOL
Antilles operates in the following fields of building
(Technical) Leadership
in the fluid field
TECSOL Antilles wants to be a single
contact for architects and building
owners for the fluid part of buildings.
The electricity, air conditioning and plumbing
experts act under the responsibility of a project
manager who is the only point of contact for
the partners of the operation.
External specific skills necessary on some
projects (acoustic, kitchen designer) are
managed by the same project manager to
provide an overall consistency to the project.
Skills Energy Management and HEQ are
internal and mobilized whenever
necessary.
engineering : strong currents, low currents, air
conditioning, plumbing, Medical Fluid, solar
energy production (thermal and photovoltaic),
Rainwater collection systems, Kitchen and laundry
Design... TECSOL Antilles is also active in the field
of energy audits and regularly participates in
training other companies (public or private). The
workforce is approximately fifteen people, steadily
growing and with firm loyalty, made possible by
the employees participation in the company’s
results.
Studies and specific tasks
TECSOL Antilles assists building owners with energy
efficiency, as well as regulatory issues (Thermal Regulation
of Guadeloupe and Martinique) during the design and
construction phase (advice, assistance, writing supporting
notes).
Our experience with the weather conditions and local
buildings, acquired since 1996, enables us to objectively
evaluate the performance of the audited buildings and
make appropriate and effective recommendations.
Some of our employees are certified Level 2 to apply the
Thermal Regulation of Guadeloupe (RTG) and will soon
be for the thermal regulation of Martinique (RTM). They
are therefore able to provide control services on existing
buildings as on new buildings.
Our presence in the West Indies
allows us to effectively and regularly
monitor the worksites.
TRAINING
TECSOL Antilles is also a registered training organizer. We regularly
provide training on our behalf but also on behalf of other
organizations : Offices controls, EDF, ADEME, Le Moniteur, ...
The expertise, experience and skills of TECSOL Antilles are
recognized and we provide in the West Indies technical training of
high quality (program available on our website).
Photovoltaic
The PV industry has now reached technical and economic
maturity. TECSOL Antilles is clearly in the development of this
sector through the auto consumption on new buildings or
building renovations.
For every building project, TECSOL Antilles proposes
the installation of photovoltaic systems for autoconsumption, with or without energy storage. Although
we always bear in mind the financial aspect, we currently
focus on the environmental aspect and the security of
sensitive installations.
Project management
and assistance in HEQ
The aim of TECSOL Antilles is to provide
concrete answers to environmental issues
by providing dedicated engineering.
We act before or during the design phase of either
new constructions or building restoration. Our
expertise is particularly in :
Validating and optimizing the architectural
choices of the building envelope, materials
and processes.
Looking for thermal and visual comfort with
minimal energy expenditure by dynamic thermal
simulation and modeling of natural lighting.
Solar thermal
The use of solar energy to produce hot water is certainly
the easiest renewable energy to integrate to the building
to effectively reduce the environmental impact of using
fossil fuels and operating expenses.
With its experience with thousands of homes as well
as many buildings such as hotels, hospitals, group
accommodation (homes, student housing) TECSOL
Antilles assists the project owners and contractors in
carrying solar projects.
Compliance with HEQ requirements during
the construction phase : waste management, etc.
