Partners since 1989, EDF and the ASL Canoë-Kayak association (located in Saint-Laurent-Blangy in the Pas de
Calais) have worked together to promote and develop canoeing and kayaking for physically disabled youth and
adults.
EDF helped to fund the construction of a wheelchair accessible dock at the watersports center. Furthermore, the

Group has contributed to purchasing equipment, such as 2-person handikayaks (kayaks designed for the
disabled) and life vests. Thanks to this financial support, the disabled can enjoy canoeing and kayaking at the
Saint-Laurent-Blangy water sports center.
