plastic eyeglass lens in North America, has
manufactured ophthalmic lenses in San
Marcos, California for over 50 years.

In April 2010, SIGNET ARMORLITE became
part of the ESSILOR INTERNATIONAL group,
world leader in corrective lenses.

l’optique ophtalmique.
The product range includes blanks and
half finished ophthalmic lenses which are
exported throughout the world and are
then
surfaced
by
either
subsidiary
companies such as SIGNET ARMORLITE
GmbH in Germany or other manufacturers.
The surfaced blanks are then shaped
locally by the retail optician to fit the frame
chosen by the wearer.

en polycarbonate des palets et des verres semifinis surfacés ensuite selon la prescription.
Terminés dans les unités de surfaçage, telle

The German headquarters are in Solingen
between Cologne and Düsseldorf where
the company designs and develops safety
spectacles (Plano and prescription) for the
industrial market which are marketed under
the brand INFIELD.
Le siège, situé à Solingen - près de Cologne et
Düsseldorf, développe des modèles de lunettes
de protection (neutre et à verres correcteurs)
sous la marque INFIELD, au design attractif,
qui offrent une protection efficace avec un port
confortable.
The design philosophy is that ‘the best
spectacles are those which are worn’. The
majority of the range is equipped with
ajustable side-arms and even nose bridges
in order to fit all shapes and sizes of faces. A
combination of design, effective protection
and comfort is the result.

Alsace distributes the INFIELD range of
safety spectacles and personalised hearing
protection throughout the French Industrial
market and also the French African market.

The Plano range is sold via Industrial safety
equipment distributors. INFIELD SAFETY also
distributes the «ROCKMAN» range of
helmets and the «déciBAISSE» range of ear
defenders as well as «RESPAIR and
PHOENIX» respiratory protection.
A travers son réseau d’agents commerciaux et
de revendeurs spécialisés, elle diffuse les
lunettes de protection neutres « INFIELD », la
gamme des casques « ROCKMAN », les
protections auditives « déciBAISSE » ainsi
que la protection respiratoire « RESPAIR et
PHOENIX ».
The safety prescription range is sold directly
to industrial users via INFIELD’s sales staff
who are qualified opticians in partnership
with a network of retail opticians
throughout France.
Par ailleurs, son équipe d’opticiens délégués,
en relation directe avec les entreprises, établit
des partenariats à travers un réseau d’opticiens
pour la délivrance des lunettes de protection à
verres correcteurs.
