Project Title:
Workscope Definition for Engines Involved in Special Operating Conditions
Objective:
To define optimum shop visit workscopes for engines involved in special operating conditions.
Description:
- Review existing documentation such as Overhaul Manuals, Special Instructions, Engineering reports
- Determine the extent of work necessary at the shop level to ensure engines involved in special conditions are
restored to airworthiness standards
- Work in close collaboration with the Maintenance Engineering organization to define such workscopes
- Initiate the necessary paperwork to have the relevant Overhaul manual section revised
Please note that if you are selected for an interview, you will be notified on May 27th. All interviews will
be held Friday, June 3rd in Pratt & Whitney facilities in Longueuil. Thank you to ensure you are available
on June 3rd in the morning before applying for this project.
Deliverables:
Updates to the Overhaul Manuals relevant sections (Mainly Light Overhaul section) , issue Engineering documents
related to special engine conditions & substantiation of decisions taken.
Benefit:
This project will help improve engine shop disposition and work scope instructions for engines involved in special
cooperating conditions, and to align the criteria used in various documentations. This will result in improved work
scoping, reduced cost of repairs, and helps improving engine reliability.
