Project Title:
Operational Support to APU Optimization Phase in ECN
Objective:
Support Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Optimization and New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects in Externals
Controls Nacelles (ECN).
Description:
The following tasks are to be performed:
- Delivery assurance follow up for Externals Controls Nacelles (ECN) supplier
- Lead Technical Project to revise Pratt & Whitney Aero Power (PWAP) drawings to Pratt & Whitney Canada
(P&WC) Standards
- Supplier development assessment (how to adapt PWAP’s assessment to P&WC's criterias)
- Resourcing opportunities with PWAP suppliers (study each supplier’s core business and identify resourcing
opportunities)
- Adapt UTC Playbook Chapter 10 tools for specific P&WC's New Product Introduction (NPI) Needs, in coordination
with other NPI commodities

Deliverables:
Support optimization phase of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) business in P&WC system for Externals Controls
Nacelles (ECN) components.
Benefit:
Achieve On Time to Clearance target for Externals Controls Nacelles components to have no impact on Auxiliary
Power Unit engine deliveries.
Schedule:
