Around the World
Join us on Friday, February 26th, 2016 (Snow date: March 04) from
6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for Gaithersburg Middle School’s International Night. Come to celebrate our
school’s diversity by sharing your family’s ethnicity and heritage with us! This will be an exciting, funfilled family event with food, entertainment, display of other culture’s attires, flags, and treasures.
Please fill out the bottom portion and choose one or more ways your family would like to participate. We
would appreciate a reply no later than January 29th. If you have any questions or would like volunteer
your time and share more about your heritage, please contact Alcira Aldana-Colón with the Linkages to
Learning program at 301-840-2784 or [email protected], PTA contact: Elizabeth McClure
[email protected]. We will be collecting canned food items to benefit Gaithersburg Help’s Pantry.
Students can earn 6 SSL hours if they man a table representing their culture.

Gaithersburg Middle School. Venga a celebrar la diversidad de nuestra escuela compartiendo la
cultura, comida, arte, vestimenta y costumbres de su país. ¡Será una noche inolvidable, llena de
actividades para toda la familia!
Por favor llene la información en el reverso de la página, indicando de qué manera le gustaría
participar. Agradeceremos su respuesta lo más pronto posible y no más tarde del 29 de enero. Si tiene

la nuit internationale du collège de Gaithersburg. Venez célébrer la
diversité de notre école en partageant l'appartenance ethnique et
l'héritage de votre famille avec nous ! Ce sera un événement familial excitant et amusant rempli de
nourriture, divertissement, exposition des vêtements d'lautres cultures, drapeaux, et trésors.
Veuillez compléter la partie inférieure et choisissez une ou plusieurs attractions ou votre famille
voudrait participer. Nous apprécierions une réponse pas plus tard que le 29 janvier. Si vous avez des
