ACCIDENT IMPLIQUANT UN CAMION
À ORDURES ET UNE VOITURE
À LA PÊCHE
ACCIDENT INVOLVING A GARBAGE
TRUCK AND A VEHICLE IN LA
PÊCHE
Ce matin, vers 08 h 30, sur la route 366,
au coin du chemin Clark, est survenu un
accident frontal impliquant une voiture
ainsi qu’un camion à ordures.
This morning, at approximately 08:30 hrs,
on Highway 366, at the corner of Clark
Road, there was a head-on collision
involving a vehicle and a garbage truck.
La conductrice de la voiture, une femme
de 43 ans de Val-des-Monts, s’est
retrouvée dans la voie inverse quand
celle-ci aurait tenté de récupérer un
paquet de cigarettes qui se trouvait à
l’intérieur de son sac à main.
The driver of the vehicle, a 43 year old
female from Val-des-Monts, crossed over
the center line as she was attempting to
recover a pack of cigarettes from her
purse.
Le conducteur du camion, un homme de
72 ans de Montcerf-Lytton, aurait tenté
d’éviter l’accident, mais en vain. Le poids
lourd s’est ensuite renversé dans le fossé.
The driver of the truck, a 72 year old man
from Montcerf-Lytton, attempted evasive
measures, but to no avail. The truck then
overturned in the ditch.
