Procedure for advance purchase of entrance tickets
for the château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg – 2016
Travel organizers may purchase entrance tickets for the château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg in
advance,
at the groups / tourism trade professionals rate – Adults : 7€ – 6-17 years : 4€ (except
school and youth group) for sale to :
- groups
- individuals in the context of packaged offers
at the full rate – Adults : 9€ – 6-17 years : 5€ (except school and youth group) for sale to :
- individuals excluding package offers (ticket only admissions)
These tickets do not have any limit to validity and enable direct admission to ticket inspection,
without waiting at the ticket office tills.
The admission ticket gives access to the monument and enables you to follow either an unguided
visit or guided visit (no extra charge).
The order form does not act as a reservation for a visit of the castle.

1. HOW TO PURCHASE
For each advance ticket purchase operation, the minimum quantity is 20 tickets.
These tickets can be collected directly from the château’s ticket office or sent by recorded delivery
post.

For all advance purchase tickets issued in situ, the order (form enclosed) must be
received a minimum of 3 days before the date when tickets will be collected in situ.

For all orders (form enclosed) for advance tickets send by post, tickets are only sent
when full payment is received by the revenues administration [régie de recettes] of the
château du Haut-Koenigsbourg.
2. CONDITIONS FOR DISCOUNT
A discount is granted according to the quantity of tickets purchased.
Groups / tourism trade professionals rate – Adults : 7€ – 6-17 years : 4€
- 3 % for 100 tickets or more
- 5 % for 200 tickets or more
- 10 % for 500 tickets or more
Full rate tickets – Adults : 9€ – 6-17 years : 5€
- 10 % for 20 tickets or more
- 13 % for 300 tickets or more
The discount is applied on the total amount of tickets for each order. The quantities purchased are
not cumulative for the purpose of application of the level of discount.

3. RESELLING CONDITIONS
The resseler is not allowed to bill his customer for a commission whose final price exceeds the full
entrance fee (9€ per adult or 5€ per youngster) included VAT (value added tax).
4. PAYMENT METHODS
Payment can be made by :
- bank or postal cheque (payable in France), to the benefit of the régisseur de
recettes du château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg
- bank or postal transfer (we will not pay any costs associated with foreign payments)
- cash (in situ only)
