SNOW GUARANTEE
Offer only applies to travel between March 23, 2014 and April 13, 2014. In the event that more
than 50% of the ski lifts in the domain are closed during a guest’s stay, Club Med will offer the
guest a Future Travel Certificate (FTC) for a value equal to 50% of the land portion for the days
impacted. Bad weather, storms and heavy snow falls are excluded.
This guarantee is valid at the following Club Med ski resorts:
Aime La Plagne, Alpe d’Huez , Arcs Extreme, Avoriaz, Cervinia, Chamonix, La Plagne 2100,
Les Deux Alpes, Meribel Antares, Meribel le Chalet, Tignes Val Claret, Val d’Isere, Val Thorens,
Serre Chevallier, Wengen, Peisey Vallandry, Pragelato, Saint Moritz roi soleil, Valmorel, Villars
sur Ollon.
How it works:




Guests do not need to call in after their trip to request their Future Travel Certificate.
This will be automatically handled by Guest Relations.
This is not additional insurance. This is a GUARANTEE provided to all guests traveling
during the specified travel window at no additional cost.
FTC’s can be used at any Club Med resort (except Buccaneer’s Creek), within one year
from the original travel date.
Club Med will extend FTCs to those affected by lift closures in proportion to the days
affected (i.e. 2 days of >50% closures will result in an FTC equal to 50% of those two
days only, not 50% of the entire stay). NO cash compensation will be offered. FTC will
be issued within 6 weeks of travel.
Terms and Conditions:
The snow guarantee is subject to change or withdrawal without notice. Future Travel
Certificates for 50% of the land value of the stay during which the village was impacted by ski lift
closure (more than 50% closed), as reported on the official website of the ski resort. Airfare,
membership fees and extras are not covered by this guarantee. Future Travel Certificates must
be used for travel completed within one year of the original date of travel and may be subject to
blackout dates and other restrictions. Certificates may be used at any Club Med village, except
Buccaneer’s Creek, Martinique.
