Théories de la Guerre et de la Paix
Cet enseignement s'inscrit dans la suite logique du cours de détermination Introduction to
International Relations donné en 3e année. Il suppose par conséquent que les étudiant(e)s
maîtrisent l'essentiel du contenu de ce cours. Ceux et celles qui ne l'auraient pas suivi ont intérêt à
se référer à notre manuel Théories des RI, Paris, Sciences Po les Presses, 2009, 3e édition, parties 1
et 2.
L'enseignement se compose de deux parties : un cours magistral au premier semestre et un
séminaire interactif au second semestre.
COURS/1er semestre
Le cours magistral présentera les théories générales des RI appliquées à la problématique de la
guerre et de la paix.

SÉMINAIRE/2nd semestre
Chaque étudiant(e) présentera sous forme d'exposé, seul(e) ou à deux, un papier de recherche sur
l'un des thèmes énumérés ci-après.
Le papier, format WORD.doc(x), devra faire au minimum 15 pages, et au maximum 18 pages, et
être rédigé en interligne 1,5 avec comme taille de police 12. Il devra être envoyé par e-mail à
l'ensemble de la classe au plus tard 48 heures avant la séance concernée.
L'exposé devra durer entre 45 et 50 minutes, pour laisser de la place à la discussion.
L'évaluation du séminaire sera fonction de la qualité du papier de recherche (60%), de sa
présentation orale (10%), de la participation de l'étudiant(e) aux discussions (30%).
L'assiduité au séminaire est obligatoire. Une seule absence, pour quelque motif que ce soit, est
tolérée sans répercussion sur la note finale.
