PRESS RELEASE
MIPIM 2015: Plaine de France EPA to present 4 urban planning projects
to extend the reach of the Greater Paris metropolitan area
and deliver better quality of life for local residents
Saint Denis, 3 March 2015 - The entire EPA Plaine de France management team will attend the MIPIM
international real estate show March 10-13. Joined by local officials, community service providers, architects
and urban planners, real estate developers and business leaders, they will present metropolitan and
international projects representing all segments of the property market: offices, residential buildings,
tourism, business premises and logistics. In the spotlight: development of the Grand Roissy area
surrounding Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, the Louvres and Puiseux eco-neighborhood, the Triangle de
Gonesse business district and its bustling EuropaCity, and Terre d’Avenir at Sevran.
For Damien Robert, CEO of Plaine de France EPA, “Plaine de France is a region on the move, caught up in
sweeping economic change. In recent years, major new development projects have transformed the urban
landscape north of Paris. The wealth and jobs they’ve created are linked to activities at Le Bourget and
Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airports (ITC, Parc Mail, FedEx, Paris Asia Business Center, and more) and to Saint
Denis, the northern suburb of Paris that is home to the new Landy business district and Pleyel
development. Now our aim is to maintain the momentum with one-of-a-kind projects that combine social,
urban, business and eco-friendly development. The projects we are presenting at MIPIM are built on our
region’s specific features, highlighting Plaine de France as a bustling metropolitan area that is open to the
world.”
That momentum will be on display in the Plaine de France section of the Grand Paris booth, with a mock-up
of the entire area and its projects including the future Grand Paris International University Quarter, Le
Bourget’s Metropolitan Cluster, projects in Aulnay-sous-Bois and Grand Roissy’s International Trade
Center, where work has just begun.
Plaine de France presentations — Agora du Pavillon Croisette (C12.A1)
1. Grand Roissy: from logistics to an economy built on trade & exchange
Areas surrounding airports in Amsterdam, Atlanta and Hong Kong have undisputed appeal for businesses
on the go, and the Roissy area is already part of this group.
Today many companies are eager to locate near airports, and while efficient logistics are a key factor, a
wide array of functions linked to international trade and professional meetings has now sprung up—
express freight, premium logistics, show rooms, trade fairs and conventions, B2B specialists and more. At
Roissy, businesses find attractive, highly competitive land and premises. Projects in the spotlight: ADP’s
restructured airport freight zone; Aérolians and its Paris Asia Business Center, A-Park, new logistics options
in Mitry-Mory, the new business park at Blanc Mesnil and more.
Session on Tuesday, March 10 from 17.00-17.30 pm / Agora du Pavillon Croisette C 12.A1
Speakers: Damien Robert, CEO, Plaine de France EPA; Thierry Lajoie, Chairman & CEO, AFTRP
