processus biophysiques du spectateur et de l’artiste. Ces
processus invisibles sont rendus perceptibles par leur
transformation en matériel audiovisuel. Dans le travail
de Brainwawe Music Lab, les fonctions corporelles et la
technologie se complémentent.
Marko Alastalo est un artiste multidisciplinaire (performance, arts de la scène, art médiatique, musique, art
audio, théâtre expérimental et art communautaire), fondateur et créateur du concept de Brainwave Music Lab.
Il est intéressé par l’interaction entre l’individu et le système, et les expériences corporelles associées.
Brainwave Music Lab gives interactive performances
based on the neural impulses and other biophysical
processes of spectator and artist. These invisible processes are brought to the realm of sensory perception
by transforming them into audiovisual material with the
help of digital media. In the works of Brainwave Music
Lab, bodily functions and technology complement each
other.
Marko Alastalo is the founder and concept creator of
Brainwave Music Lab. This multidisciplinary artist works
in the fields of performance, live art, media art, music,
audio art, experimental theatre, and community art. He
is interested in the processes of interaction between the
individual and the system, and the associated bodily experiences.
