KLX 250/300 Shift Kit Instruction
The Four Stroke Works shift kit includes a pre-load device and a modified shift star. This
allows for a definite and positive shifting.
Installation:
1. Remove 6mm nut that secures the shift-star position arm
2. Remove spring and slip preload device over the end of the spring
3. replace spring and arm, using red lock-tite on 6mm nut.
4. while holding arm down, replace shift star. Make sure dowel is aligned properly.
