ROLLER GUARDIAN TIME - BLUE
With its asymmetrical case, deconstructed time display and gentle curves contrasting with a
powerful architecture, the RGT disrupts codes and combines opposites in providing an offbeat
and resolutely avant-garde take on Haute Horlogerie.
Since 2007, the Geneva-based House of Ladoire has been playing with contradictions and associating
extremes within atypical creations featuring cutting-edge complications and sophisticated aesthetics.
Under the impetus of Lionel Ladoire, the design of these models is defined, shaped and matured in
tune with an underground-rock style mood inspired by contemporary culture and some of its most
famous exponents such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Andy Warhol and Philippe Starck.
The daringly asymmetrical Roller Guardian Time RGT confronts a virile design with the soft lines and
silk touch of the case middle, while the resolutely technical nature of the display stands out against the
backdrop of the ultra-refined movement decorations.
Stemming from an unbridled imagination and a decidedly offbeat mind-set – symbolised by the
signature spider’s web engraved on the GMT wheel and the ratchet – LADOIRE Genève creations
shake up traditional watchmaking codes and favour deconstructed time displays.
Endowed with an extraordinarily complex display mode and unusual dimensions, the innovative
concept of the H M S Planetary® complication is duly protected by a patent.
The entirely offset Hour, Minute and Seconds indications of this Regulator-type model are displayed
by three cages mounted on ceramic micro ball bearings. The RGT also features a GMT function with a
central hand that can be rapidly adjusted via a dedicated corrector push-button at 2 o’clock.
Crafted according to the rigorous standards of fine leather-making, the blue alligator leather LADOIRE
strap features a hand-sewn matt black leather lining and is fitted with an articulated double pin buckle.
This summer, Lionel Ladoire is introducing a three-piece limited edition on which the revisited bridges,
strap and dial sport a casual denim blue shade.

Depuis 2007, La Maison genevoise Ladoire se joue des contradictions et allie les extrêmes au sein de
créations atypiques aux complications pointues et à l’esthétisme racé.
Sous l’impulsion de Lionel Ladoire, le design de ces pièces, se définit, se construit et s’affine au gré
d’une humeur rock/underground dont l’inspiration se nourrit de la culture contemporaine et de ses
hérauts tels Jean-Paul Gaultier, Andy Warhol et Philippe Starck.
La Roller Guardian Time RGT, asymétrique et audacieuse, oppose à un design viril, la douceur des
lignes et le toucher soyeux de la carrure; la technicité affichée du cadran se superpose à la finesse
des décorations du mouvement.
Fruits d’une imagination débridée et d’un esprit décalé - dont la toile d'araignée gravée sur la roue de
GMT et le rochet peut être perçue comme la signature, les créations LADOIRE Genève bousculent les
codes de l’horlogerie traditionnelle et prônent la déconstruction de l’affichage du temps.
Complexité d’affichage hors norme, dimensions insolites, le concept de la complication H M S
Planetary est novateur et breveté.
Entièrement excentrées, les indications Heure, Minute, Seconde de ce Régulateur, s'effectuent à
l’aide de trois cages montées sur micro-roulements à billes céramiques. Par ailleurs la RGT présente
une fonction GMT dont l’aiguille centrale s’ajuste via un correcteur rapide à 2h.
Conçu selon les critères rigoureux de la haute maroquinerie, le bracelet LADOIRE en alligator bleu,
monté sur une double boucle ardillon articulée présente une doublure en cuir noir mat, cousu main.
Cet été, Lionel Ladoire signe une édition limitée de trois pièces dont les ponts, le bracelet et le cadran
revisités se teintent d’un bleu jean à l’allure décontractée.
