Paesi ACP (Africa, Caraibi, Pacifico), promosso dalla
Commissione Europea, finalizzato alla crescita del settore
privato come chiave per lo sviluppo economico.
PROINVEST ha un preciso obiettivo: incrementare gli
investimenti ed il livello occupazionale nei paesi ACP e
contribuire alla integrazione economica di quest’area,
affinchè giochi un proprio ruolo nell’economia globale. Il
Programma è gestito da un’unità tecnica all’interno del
Centro per lo sviluppo dell’impresa di Bruxelles, sotto la
supervisione della Commissione Europea.

Obiettivi
• incoraggiare il partenariato tra imprese ed il dialogo
Pubblico- Privato.
• supportare la “capacity building” degli Organismi
Intermediari che sostengono il settore privato
(Agenzie di promozione degli Investimenti, Camere di
Commercio, Associazioni di imprenditori, Istituti
Finanziari, Società di consulenza)
Strumenti
1) Supporto istituzionale: agevolare l’azione degli
Organismi Intermediari per favorire lo sviluppo
imprenditoriale ed un ambiente d’affari più competitivo.
2) Supporto dei settori chiave: Organizzazione di
incontri d’affari per promuovere investimenti ed accordi
di partenariato nord-sud / sud-sud.
3) Sostegno alle Imprese: studi di settore, supporto
alle imprese ACP nella fase di definizione dei loro
progetti e nella partecipazione/ follow- up ad incontri
d’affari.
