CHARGING
Your Carbon Smart headset performs best when fully charged.
A full charge takes just 50 minutes and will provide up to: 3 hours of talk time, 3 hours of multimedia streaming or 4 days of standby
time. With our fast charging technology: a quick 15-minute charge will provide up to: 1.5 hours of talk time or 2 days of standby time.
The indicator light will remain red while the Carbon Smart is charging. When fully charged, the indicator light will change from red to
blue. When the battery is low, you will be alerted by a voice prompt (or a low beep if using the beep mode).

BATTERY STATUS ON iPhone™
This headset supports the iPhone headset battery meter; when the Carbon
Smart is connected to an iPhone, you can monitor its battery level using the
headset battery meter displayed in the iPhone’s status bar.
Note:
The lifetime of the battery will be significantly
reduced if your device is left uncharged for
a long period. We recommend that you fully
recharge your device at least once a month.

uPower Switch
Slide the power switch to turn the Carbon Smart on or off.
To save power, your Carbon Smart will automatically turn off when it loses connection with your mobile phone
for more than 20 minutes. To wake the headset, slide the power switch off and then on again.
LANGUAGE SELECTION
Voice prompts are available in English, Spanish, Putonghua (Mandarin), French. (If you prefer not to use voice
prompts, you may use the universal “beep” mode instead.)
The first time you switch your headset on, you will be prompted to select your desired voice prompt language.
Follow the voice instructions and select the language of your choice by pressing the TALK button once.
After completing the language selection, the Carbon Smart will automatically enter pairing mode. See page 3 for
pairing instructions.
You can change your headset’s language setting at any time simply by resetting your Carbon Smart. See page 8 for
information on resetting your headset.

vVOL Button
Tap the VOL button to turn the speaker volume up. Once the headset reaches maximum volume, you can
continue tapping the button to decrease the volume to the lowest level and back up again.

uMake sure your phone is on and navigate to your phone’s Bluetooth® menu to search for or add a new Bluetooth device (refer to
your phone’s user manual if you need help finding this menu).
vSwitch on Bluetrek Carbon Smart, press and hold the TALK Button for approx. 8 seconds until blue and red light flash alternately.
wPlace the Bluetrek Carbon Smart and your mobile phone within 0.3 meter (1 foot) from each other.
x“BLUETREK CARBON SMART” will be displayed on your mobile phone.
yFollow the phone instructions to accept the pairing. The PIN code (or passkey) is 0000, then press “yes” or “ok”.

Using the mobile phone key pad
• Make sure the headset is turned on and connected to your phone.
•Dial the number on your phone’s keypad and place the call. The call audio will automatically transfer to your headset
within a few seconds.
Using the voice recognition function of your mobile phone*
•Make sure the voice recognition function on your mobile is activated and your voice tags
have been recorded on the phone. Please refer to your phone manual.
• When there is no incoming or active call, press on the TALK button for 2 seconds.
• Wait for the audio signal from the mobile phone (generally a short tone).
• Say the name of the person you wish to call.

LISTENING TO MUSIC
Carbon Smart is capable of streaming music from a mobile phone or other Bluetooth® devices that support the A2DP profile.
Once you have paired your Carbon Smart with your device, use your device to play, pause, stop, skip, forward and backward.
If you receive a call while streaming music, the music will automatically pause and you can use the headset to answer or reject the call.
Once you end or reject the call, the music should automatically resume. On some devices you may have to press ‘play’ to start the music
again.

MULTI-POINT FUNCTION
VOICE ALERT
Connecting with two Bluetooth enabled devices simultaneously.
A recorded voice reminds you of the status of your headset, such as: low battery, pairing, last outgoing number redial, mute, un-mute etc…
Enable the multi-point function
1. Pair the headset to the first device (see page 3 for paring instructions).
2.Press and hold the TALK button for 8 seconds to enter into paring mode and then pair it to the second device (see page 3 for paring
instructions).
3. Press the TALK button once again. The two devices will be connected simultaneously
You can select the languages from first switch on the headset. 4 languages are available for this headset: English, Spanish,
Putonghua (Mandarin) and French. You may also select the “beep” tone alert.
Answer a call while talking on the other paired phone
• To answer the second call and put the current call on hold, the TALK button twice in a row.
• To answer the second call and terminate current call, press the TALK button once.
• To reject the second call, reject from mobile phone directly.

MUTING THE MICROPHONE
To change the voice alert language, please reset your headset.
Carbon Smart will reconnect to your mobile phone automatically if the Bluetooth connection is interrupted for less than 3 minutes.
If connection is interrupted for 3 to 20 minutes, press the TALK button once to reconnect with your phone.
To save power, your Carbon Smart will automatically turn off when it loses connection with your mobile phone for more than 20
minutes. To wake the headset, slide the power switch off and then on again.
To mute the microphone during an active call
During an active call, press and hold the VOL button for approximately 2 seconds. A periodic tone can be heard in the speaker.
To end the mute function
When the microphone is muted, press and hold the VOL button for approximately 2 seconds until the periodic tone is end.

If the headset does not seem to be operating normally, place it on the charger for a full charge. If that does not correct the problem, try
rebooting or resetting the headset.

1. Switch your headset on.
2. Press and hold the TALK and VOL buttons for 5-seconds until the red LED light flashes.
3. Wait for 7 seconds. The headset will reset and enter into pairing mode.
After resetting your headset, you will need to pair your device(s) again.

•Lorsque vous n’êtes ni en ligne, ni en train de recevoir un appel, appuyez sur la le bouton principal pendant deux secondes.
• Attendez le signal sonore du téléphone mobile (normalement, un court bip).
• Prononcez le nom de la personne à appeler.

COUPER LE MICRO
La Carbon Smart est en mesure de lire de la musique sur un périphérique Bluetooth® qu’il s’agisse d’un téléphone portable ou de tout
autre périphérique Bluetooth® prenant en charge A2DP. Une fois que vous avez appairé la Carbon Smart avec votre téléphone portable
au lecteur Bluetooth®, utilisez votre téléphone ou le lecteur pour lire, faire une pause, arrêter, passer à la piste suivante ou revenir à la
piste précédente. Lorsque vous recevez un appel, la musique est automatiquement interrompue et vous pouvez répondre à l’appel ou
le rejeter par le biais de l’oreillette. Lorsque vous terminez l’appel, la musique reprend. Sur certains téléphones et appareils de lecture de
musique, il sera peut-être nécessaire d’appuyer sur la touche de lecture pour que la musique reprenne.
Pour couper le micro pendant un appel actif
Pendant un appel, appuyer et maintenir le bouton VOL pendant approximativement 2 secondes. Un son périodique est émis au

1. Jumeler l’oreillette avec le premier combine (référez-vous à la section “Jumelage”).
2.Maintenir enfoncé le bouton principal pendant environ 8 secondes (une fois s’il s’agit de la première fois) pour entrer dans le mode
de jumelage. Jumeler ensuite le deuxième dispositif. (référez-vous à la section “Jumelage”).
3.Appuyer une fois de plus sur le bouton principal. Les appareils seront connectés simultanément.
Répondre à un appel durant une conversation sur l’autre téléphone associé
•Pour répondre au deuxième appel et mettre l’appel courant en attente, appuyer deux fois sur le bouton principal.
•Pour répondre au deuxième appel et terminer l’appel courant, appuyer une fois sur le bouton principal.
• Pour rejeter le deuxième appel, le rejeter depuis le téléphone directement.
ANNONCES VOCALES
Une voix enregistré vous rappelle le statut de votre oreillette: niveau de charge de la batterie de l’oreillette, jumelage en cours,
recomposition du dernier numéro, micro coupé, micro actif etc...
Vous pouvez sélectionner votre langue préférée au premier allumage de l’oreillette.
Quatre langues sont disponibles pour cette oreillette: Anglais, Espagnol, Chinois Mandarin, et Français. Vous pouvez aussi désactiver les
annonces vocales.
Pour changer la langue des alertes vocales et les remplacer par des bips de notifications, vous devez faire une remise à zéro de l’oreillette.

L’oreillette Carbon Smart se reconnectera a votre mobile automatiquement lorsque la connexion Bluetooth est détectée dans les 3 mn.

Si l’oreillette dysfonctionne, il est peut être nécessaire de la redémarrer ou de faire une réinitialisation. Pour redémarrer l’oreillette
mettez-la en charge. Après 5 secondes, l’oreillette se rallumera automatiquement. Allumez votre oreillette L’oreillette va redémarrer et
entrer en mode jumelage directement.
Si le problème persiste, il est possible de réinitialiser l’oreillette et de retourner aux paramètres par défaut. Pour réinitialiser l’oreillette
appuyer simultanément sur le bouton principal et le bouton de volume pendant environ 5 secondes et jusqu’a ce que la LED rouge
clignote. Attendez 7 secondes, l’oreillette va redémarrer et entrer en mode jumelage directement.

WIEDERANSCHLUSS
Carbon Smart verbindet sich automatisch innerhalb von 3 Minuten mit ihrem Telefon wider wenn die Verbindung unterbrochen ist.
Wenn die Verbindung zwischen 3 und 20 Minuten unterbrochen ist, dann müssen sie den TALK Knopf drücken um ihr Telefon wieder
zu verbinden.
Wenn die Verbindung länger als 20 Minuten unterbrochen ist, dann schaltet sich Carbon Smart automatisch aus und sie müssen
Carbon Smart wieder aus und einschalten um ihr Telefon wieder zu verbinden.
AUF WERKSEINSTELLUNG ZURÜCKSETZEN
Wenn das Headset für Kommunikation unfahig ist oder anders abweicht, sollten Sie Ihr Headset umsetzen oder neuladen.
Um Ihr Headset umzusetzen, laden Sie einfach Ihr Headset für 5 Sekunden, das Headset wird automatisch wieder tätig.
Wenn das Umsetzen das Problem nicht lösen kann, versuchen Sie Ihr Headset neuzustarten. Unter dem Standby Modus drücken Sie
die SPRECH-Taste zusammen mit VOL Taste für 5 Sekunden bis die rote LED leuchtet. Ca. 7 Sekunden abwarten, das Headset startet neu
und schaltet direkt zum Verbindungsmodus.

•Per rispondere alla seconda chiamata e mettere in attesa la chiamata in corso, prema due volte il tasto principale e verrà effettuato il
passaggio fra le due chiamate.
•Per rispondere alla seconda chiamata e terminare la chiamata in corso prema una volta il tasto principale.
•Per rifiutare la seconda chiamata direttamente dal telefono cellulare.

SEGNALE ACUSTICO
Una voce registrata fornirà una guida vocale che segnalerà ad esempio: batteria dell’auricolare scarica, batteria del telefono scarica
(questa funzionalità dipende dal telefono/computer portatile), richiamare l’ultimo numero, modalità silenziosa, disabilita la modalità
silenziosa, ecc.

Il Carbon Smart è in grado di riprodurre musica streaming mediante una connessione Bluetooth® sia con un telefono cellulare che con un

El Carbon Smart puede transmitir música a través de Bluetooth®, ya sea desde un teléfono móvil o cualquier otro dispositivo Bluetooth®

Cuando el micrófono este silenciado, pulse y sostenga el botón VOL durante aproximadamente 2 segundos. Desaparecerá el sonido
del tono periódico.
Si el conncection se pierde por más de 20 minutos, de Carbon Smart se apagará de forma automática y es necesario cambiar el
botón de “off” y luego a la posición “on” se despierta el auricular al instante.
Si quieres volver a conectar después de 3 a 20 minutos, tendrá que pulsar el botón TALK para volver a conectar.
ALERTA DE VOZ
RECONFIGURACIÓN
Una voz grabada le recuerda las acciones de sus audífonos: batería baja en los audífonos, batería baja en el teléfono (estas
características dependen del teléfono/laptop), rediscado del último número, activación y desactivación del sonido, etc.
Si el auricular falla en la comunicación o existe algún funcionamiento anormal, posiblemente tenga que reiniciar o restablecer su
auricular.
Para reiniciar el auricular, sólo cargue el auricular durante 5 segundos, el auricular se reactivará automáticamente.
Usted puede seleccionar el idioma desde el primer botón de los audífonos. Están disponibles 4 idiomas en los audífonos: inglés,
español, mandarín y francés. También puede configurar la función de mensajes de voz.
Si usted desea cambiar el idioma a futuro o volver a activar la función de voz de alerta, necesitará reconfigurar sus audífonos. Vea la
sección “Reconfiguración”.
Si después de reiniciar no se ha resuelto el problema, trate de restablecer el auricular. En el modo de espera, presione el botón

Dankzij de lage wachttijd-technologie, kunt u uw headset inschakelen wanneer er een oproep binnenkomt
zodat u niet per ongeluk uw headset inschakelt.

SELECTIE VAN DE TAAL
Uit
U kunt de taal op de eerste schakelaar van de hoofdtelefoon selecteren. Druk op de PRAAT-knop (TALK)
volgens de instructies (standaard in het Engels). Er zijn vier talen beschikbaar op deze hoofdtelefoon: Engels,
Spaans, Mandarijn en Frans. Tijdens het selecteren van de taal kan u de voice promps altijd uitschakelen.
Deze zullen dan vervangen worden door een biep toon.
uSchakel uw telefoon aan en selecteer de zoekstand van Bluetooth® (zie handleiding van uw Bluetooth® mobiele telefoon).
vAls de Bluetrek Carbon Smart uit staat, druk de PRAAT-toets ca. 8 seconden in totdat het blauwe en rode lampje afwisselend knippert.
wPlaats de Bluetrek Carbon Smart headset en uw mobiele telefoon binnen een afstand van 30 cm van elkaar.
xZodra de mobiele telefoon de headset heeft ontdekt, verschijnt er een boodschap met de tekst: ”BLUETREK CARBON SMART”.
yVolg de instructies op uw telefoon op om het paren te bevestigen. De pincode (of wachtwoord) is 0000. Druk vervolgens op “yes” of “ok”.
* Indien uw telefoon door “Secure Simple Pairing” (SSP) ondersteunt wordt, is het niet nodig op een PIN-code in te voeren.

Mobiele telefoon zonder spraakherkenning
• Zorg ervoor dat zowel de headset en de mobiele telefoon in de parate stand staan.
•Toets het nummer in en wacht ongeveer 2 seconden totdat de geluidsverbinding tot stand is gebracht.

Kies het nummer op het keypad of gebruik spraakherkenning als uw telefoon daarmee is uitgerust.
Mobiele telefoon met spraakherkenning
•Zorg ervoor dat de functie ‘spraakherkenning’ op uw mobiele telefoon geactiveerd is en uw stemvoorbeelden door de telefoon zijn
opgenomen. Om deze op te nemen, zie de handleiding van uw telefoon.
•Als er geen actief of binnenkomend gesprek is ongeveer 2 seconden lang op de TALK-toets drukken.
•Wacht op het door de mobiele telefoon verzonden geluidssignaal (meestal een kortetoon).
•Spreek de naam uit van de persoon die u wilt bellen.
GESPREKKEN BEANTWOORDEN
Indien de hoofdtelefoon ingeschakeld is: druk één maal op de praat-knop.
Indien de hooftelefoon uitgeschakeld is: schakel de headset dan in en de oproep
zal automatisch beantwoord worden.

MUZIEK LUISTEREN
De Carbon Smart is geschikt voor streaming muziek via Bluetooth® hetzij via een mobiele telefoon of een ander Bluetooth®- apparaat
met A2DP-ondersteuning. Als uw Carbon Smart met uw mobiele telefoon of de Bluetooth®-muziekspeler gepaard is, kunt u via de
telefoon of muziekspeler muziek afspelen, pauzeren, stopzetten en naar voren en achteren bladeren. Als u een gesprek ontvangt,
wordt de muziek automatisch gestopt en kunt u het gesprek via de headset aannemen of weigeren. Zodra het gesprek is afgelopen,
wordt de muziek hervat. Bij sommige telefoons en muziekapparatuur moet u op ‘play’ drukken om de muziek weer te starten.
Een gesprek beantwoorden terwijl je op de andere gepaarde telefoon praat
•Om het tweede gesprek te beantwoorden en het huidige gesprek op “hold” te zetten, dubbelklikken op de hoofdtoets om te wisselen.
•Om het tweede gesprek te beantwoorden en het huidige gesprek te beëindigen, de hoofdtoets eenmaal indrukken.
•Rechtstreeks van de mobiele telefoon weigeren.
Geluid uit beëindigen
Als de microfoon is uitgeschakeld ongeveer 2 seconden lang de VOL toets in. De periodieke toon houdt nu op.
STEMWAARSCHUWING
Een opgenomen stem zal u aan te ondernemen acties herinneren zoals: een bijna lege batterij van de headset, een bijna lege
batterij van de telefoon (deze functies zijn afhankelijk van de telefoon/laptop), herhaling laatste nummer, geluid dempen, geluid
weer inschakelen enz.
U kunt de taal op de eerste schakelaar van de hoofdtelefoon selecteren. Er zijn vier talen beschikbaar op deze hoofdtelefoon: Engels,
Spaans, Mandarijn en Frans. U kunt ook gesproken aanwijzingen functie uit.
Indien u de taal wilt veranderen of opnieuw activeren voice alert functie, dient u de hoofdtelefoon eerst te herstellen, zie secie
“herstellen”.

MULTI-POINT FUNCTIE
De Multipoint-technologie kunt u een headset met twee verschillende Bluetooth apparaten gebruiken. Gelieve de instructies hieronder
te lezen:

1. Paar de koptelefoon met de mobiele Eerste apparaat (Gelieve onder “paring” te kijken).
2.Toets de hoofdtoets ongeveer 8 seconden (Druk één maal in indien het voor het eerst gebruikt wordt) in om in de paringsmodus te
komen, paar het dan naar de tweede apparaat (Gelieve te kijken onder de “parings” sectie).
3. Een keer op de Talk toets drukken nogmaals. De 2 apparaten worden automatisch verbonden.
DE MICROFOON UITZETTEN
Microfoongeluid tijdens een gesprek uitschakelen
Druk tijdens een gesprek ongeveer 2 seconden lang de VOL toets in. Als de microfoon is uitgeschakeld klinkt een onderbroken toon.
HERAANSLUITING
MEER INFORMATIE EN ONDERSTEUNING
Bluetrek Carbon Smart zal binnen de 3 minuten terug gekoppeld worden aan uw mobiele telefoon wanneer uw bluetooth
ingeschakeld is.
Deze gebruikshandleiding is alleen om je te laten starten. Als je problemen ondervindt, ga naar www.bluetrek.com om de
gebruikersgids te downloaden, waarin alle details, mogelijkheden en functies staan.
Wanneer u na die 3 minuten nog wil verbinden volstaat een simpele druk op de Talk knop.
De mogelijkheden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van je telefoon. Je kunt de comptabiliteit controleren op onze website. Je kunt
ook met je telefoonfabrikant controleren of je handset de Bluetrek profielen voor handsfree of koptelefoon ondersteunt.
Na 20 minuten van geen verbinding zal de Bluetrek Carbon Smart zichzelf uitschakelen en dient u het toestel uit en aan te schakelen
om deze uit stand by te halen.

HERSTELLEN
Bedankt voor het kiezen van een BLUETREK® product
Als opnieuw opstarten het probleem niet oplost, probeer uw headset te resetten. Druk in de standby-modus tegelijk op de TALK
en VOL-knop voor 5 seconden tot de rode LED knippert. Wacht ongeveer 7 seconden tot de headset opnieuw opstart en naar de
verbindingsmodus gaat.

Als de headset niet kan communiceren of abnormaal gedrag vertoont, is het misschien nodig de headset te resetten of opnieuw op te
starten. Om de headset opnieuw op te starten, laad de headset voor 5 seconden op en deze zal automatisch reactiveren.

放、快进及快退。当您接听来电时，音乐将会自动暂停播放，您将能够通过耳机接听或拒绝接听来电。一旦通话结束，将
会重新开始播放音乐。对于某些手机和音乐播放设备，要再次启动音乐播放，您可能需要按下“play(播放)”按钮。
如需在第一个电话通话中时，接听第二个来电：
