On the first of September 2011 the employers organisations for industrial painting contractors in
Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands1 formalized their cooperation, that
started last year, by concluding a cooperation agreement. The name of the newly created
international organisation is:
European Association of Industrial Painting Contractors / Union Européenne des Entreprises de
Peinture Industrielle, abbreviated as EAIPC/UEEPI.
EAIPC/UEEPI represents, and takes actions to safeguard and to promote, the interests of
(associations of) entrepreneurs and enterprises engaged in industrial painting and related fields at
the international level. Actions concerning the following important developments are planned:




Exchange of knowledge and information: education.
Exchange of knowledge and information: requirements of principals/clients.
European regulations and standardisation.
Waste reduction and treatment.
The General Meeting in Brussels set up working groups to carry out activities in these fields of
interest. These working groups will meet regularly and will report on their work annually at the
General Meeting.
The newly established organisation elected Mr E.J. (Edwin) Meeuwsen as their single point of
contact for 2011 and 2012. The point of contact will provide the required secretarial support and
will manage the finances of the organisation during this period.

Bruxelles, le 1er Septembre 2011.
Le premier Septembre 2011 les organisations d’entrepreneurs de peinture industrielle d’Autriche,
de Belgique,de France, d’Allemagne, d’Italie et des Pays-Bas1 ont officialisé leur collaboration,
débutée l'année dernière, en concluant un accord de coopération. Le nom de la nouvelle
organisation internationale est:
l'Union Européenne des Entreprises de Peinture Industrielle / European Association of Industrial
Painting Contractors, en abrégé UEEPI (EAIPC ).
UEEPI (EAIPC) représente, et prend des mesures pour protéger et promouvoir les intérêts des
(associations) d'entrepreneurs et les entreprises engagées dans la peinture industrielle et les
domaines connexes à l'échelle internationale. Des actions concernant les développements
importants suivants sont prévues:




l'Échange de connaissances et d'informations: formation.
Échange de connaissances et d'informations: les exigences des clients.
La réglementation européenne et la normalisation.
Réduction des déchets et traitement.
L'assemblée générale à de Bruxelles a mis en place des groupes de travail pour mener des activités
dans ces domaines d'intérêt. Ces groupes de travail se réuniront régulièrement et présenteront un
rapport sur leur travail, annuellement, à l'assemblée générale.
La nouvelle organisation a élu M. EJ (Edwin) Meeuwsen comme point de contact unique pour 2011
et 2012. Le point de contact fournira le soutien nécessaire de secrétariat et gérera les finances de
l'organisation pendant cette période.
