The globalized world is a direct result of maritimisation which
demands that we reflect on the strategic role of oceans and seas
beyond military matters. Above and below the waves, oceans and
seas find that they are the battlefield between world powers
striving to expand and protect their maritime claims.
Objectifs du cours /
Course objectives
This course offers students the chance to reflect on the important issues of
the maritime domain including, but not limited to defining maritime limits,
maritime power projection and geostrategic and geopolitical implications.

Learning outcomes
This course will use multi-media to support teaching, allowing for
interactive teaching and learning. The reflection will mix case
studies and global analysis.
