New York City The breakTeam. WARNING: Breakdance moves can cause injury. If you attempt these breakdance moves, it is at your own risk. Use common sense. If you' re a beginner, learn the easy breakdance moves before doing advanced breakdance moves. Where possible, practice on a soft surface. Remember to warm up properly before starting as this will help prevent injury. Thank you for your comprehension. The BreakTeam Hip hop : Cultural movement born in New York in the block partys of Bronx, at the beginning of the Seventies." « b-boy » : The “b-boy” name has no precise significance, we speak about bronx-boy, bad-boy,, break-boy Breakdance: The breakdance is a famous dance of Hip-Hop which is practised on the ground. It’s the simultaneous achievement of several acrobatic figures on the ground. This dance is often regarded as a sport for some but it is above all an art, a way of being expressed through various figures. It’s in 1969 when is born this rather special dance, when one of the most famous stars of the moment, James Brown, published his large hit "get one the good foot". In his concerts, we can see him carrying out accrobatic figures in a very fast way and this by keeping his centre of gravity to the short-nap cloth of the ground. James brown will be at the origin of this acrobatic and extremely energetic dance. In the American black districts of Bronx in the United States, a new dance was born: Breakdance (or b-boyin) and many groups will emerge in the Eighties, like the Rock' n' roll Steady Crew, Dynamics Rockers, Crazy Breaker, Floor Lords, New York City Breakers... Releasing personalities such as Frosty Freeze, Crazy Legs, Ken Swift, Pee Wee, Flowmaster, Ken Page équipement Page échauffement Page cours Remarque Breakers… Rock. The breakdance then will give birth to the "battles" which are great duels between several groups of breakers or "B- boy" who by the means of this dance will clash in front of a public who will judge them. Initially known in the United States, this dance is imported into France by Sidney in its emission "H. I P. H. O P." diffused in 1984 on TF1 Sidney will be the real "spokesman" of this dance in France, and will make known it thus to million young French. The popularity of this dance does not cease growing and take more ad more width so much so that it becomes a commercial organization, the clips vidéos do not cease multiplying on the television. Finally, the breakdance is a dance which has its own musical kind and both are indissociable. The breakdance is the alloy between acrobatic figures and specific musical kind such as the breakbeat, the jazz funk. Without that, the breakdance would not be regarded as a dance. In order to dance well, it is essential to chose the best adapted equipment. You must be perfectly at ease inside in order to carry, under the best conditions, various breakdance moves out. Here is an exhaustive list of the various equipments. Click for more information. After having chosen the equipment which was better appropriate to you, we now can pass to the heating. This one is obligatory and you should not in no case start to dance without a preliminary heating. Choose the part of the body which you want to overheat in first If you have chosen your equipment and you are overheated beforehand, we can now pass to the serious things ! We remind to you that the achievement of these figures is dangerous, thus follow seriously the instructions. Note: All this moves are rather hard to describe with text only, that’s the reason why visual aids (pictures and videos) are essential. We will carry out all the moves in the direction of the needles of a watch. Here are one of the basic moves of the break, it is a kind of routine which allows to connect several phases... 1)Le départ jambes écartées main gauche et main droite au sol, le poids répartis entre ces quatre appuis. 1) The departure isolated legs, left hand and right hand on the ground, the weight distributed between these four supports. 2) The left leg crosses the right leg and comes to take support with the body laterally 3) The right leg comes placed under the knees left so that one can move the left leg thereafter 4) The right leg crosses the left leg and comes laterally take support with the body, the weight now will pass on 2 supports: the right hand and the right feet . 5) The left leg comes to position behind, and the left hand will take support to relieve the right hand. 6) Return to the initial position. Windmill The windmill is a circular motion, it acts of a rotation around the back. The move is carried out here in the direction of the needles of a watch. 1) Put upright facing the ground. Prepare yourself to put your left hand in the place of your right leg. 2) Your left hand is now posed. The right leg will come whip while describing a circle arc. The left leg does not rise as much as the right leg did not finish its quadrant. The right hand will come to be posed. Advice : Fold the right leg before lashing, then tighten when you whip, that will give you more dash when you carry out the move. Your left leg is now raised, it will seek vous faucherez, cela vous donnera plus d' élan lorsque vous effectuerez towards your left ear in order to describe also a circle arc. The right leg le mouvement. will come to whip inside, it will pass under the left leg. Toutefois cela s' effectue en 1 5) You are on the top of the back, your right hand will prepare to catch the ground towards the right as the picture indicates it. In the same way for millième de seconde donc veillez à toujours avoir assez de vitesse. the left hand it also will seek the ground. 6) Your right hand and your left hand push the ground, your leg right is on the top thanks to the fifth stage which is essential, because if you do not 5)Vous êtes sur le haut du dos, votre main droite va se préparer à aller attraper le sol vers la droite comme l' indique la photo. De même pour la put your right leg high enough at the previous stage you risk not to pass main gauche elle va également chercher le sol. La jambe droite va aller the first turn, your legs will remain to the ground. Your right leg will come to whip inside again describing a circle arc. chercher vers le haut et la tête va suivre le mouvement. 7) You see the move of the hands which push to give you additional dash in addition to whipping. The left leg always remains tended 8) You returned to the starting position We advise you to tighten well the legs and to preserve the variation throughout the move. Your hands will help you to push and to give you dash Note : this move can be carried out without posing the head on the ground, but we advise you to put the head on the ground, you will be able thereafter to connect the windmill with other moves like the headspin or the couronne. If you manage to make a turn, the principle is the same one to carry out several turns. 4)ramenez vos jambes vers vos fesses de façon à pouvoir donner une Flash kick Principle The principle is simple, it acts in fact of a back salto, however what will differentiate it from it, it is the fact that the impulse is not carried out on two legs, but only on one. 1)Take dash while making use of its arms for rotation be more fastest as possible during the move 2)The support leg is the right leg here, it will enable you to gain the height (it is essential to have a good propulsion). 3)As soon as you are on your best support, whip with your left leg to the top and take along your arms towards front. Try to follow glance the leg which whips before the impulsion. 4)At the time of the impulse: follow glance an imaginary line drawn in the ceiling all along the move. 5)At the time of the landing, it is your support leg (here the right) which will fall the first on the ground, follow-up of your left leg. 6)Here rectify you and the move is then carried out successfully. Advice : This move is not complicated, but it is to carry out initially on carpets of gymnastics, in order to avoid possible accidents, and in company of a person already experienced. Do not despair if ever you do not manage to carry out this move, this move asks patience and much of perseverance. Do not to be afraid of the back (in general, it is the principal obstacle which any individual meet). Train yourself to carried out a back salto to be accustomed at the back. Hand-jump Hand-jump is a figure which requires balance. 1)Start upright 2)Put your support hand on the ground (here the left hand, it is it which will enable you to carry out jumps), and raise your leg opposed to the hand in order to define an axe. 3)You are now on one arm, be more straight as possible to keep balance. 4)Bring back your legs towards your buttocks in order to give an impulse towards the top. impulsion vers le haut 5)l' impulsion va vous aider à faire lever votre main et donc à effectuer ce qu' on appelle le saut de main. 5)The impulse will help you to raise your hand and thus to carry out what is called the hand-jump. 6)And so on, bring back the legs then jump the most time you can. Advice : do not move away too much your legs from your body in order to be always compact and well in the axis. Do not jump too high if not it will be harder to keep the axis Backjump The backjump belongs to the category of the jumps, it is a kind of freeman. In this move, we play more on swinging from one side to another. 1)In order to have dash, put the left leg ahead while preparing the right leg which will serve thereafter to give the impulse at the time of the jump. 2)Swivel of a quarter of turn with your right leg (here the support leg), push with your right hand (it will be useful to give more impulse at the time of the jump), prepare the left hand which carries out a half ring towards the right like the left leg. 3)after being propelled here is the position in which you must find (i.e. back parallel to the ground, arms and legs drawn aside), don’t forget that the head follows the movement of the rotation. 4)at the landing it is the left leg which must return the first on the ground followed by the right and for not to lose balance help of your left hand to return. 5)rectify yourself and your move is currently to finished and start again until obtaining a perfect move. Warning: this move is dangerous, you must not learn it all alone, carry out it with an experienced person and preferably on carpets
