Voici le premier CD anglais de “singles” de Rod Stewart, avec les photos de l’époque et notes d’information.
C’est un travail définitif sur la période années 60 de Rod Stewart.
Les six premiers titres datent de 1964, c’est à l ‘écoute de ces démos que Decca signa Rod. Les titres 7 à 11 sont
des singles et faces B de la période 65-68 (rares et collectionnés !). Le titre 12 date de 1967, avec Keith Richards
à la guitare et Keith Emerson aux claviers, production Mick Jagger. Les titres 13,14,15, résulteznt de la
participation amicale de Rod à l’album « In a broken dream », du groupe australien « Python Lee Jackson », en
1969. la chanson titre fut un hit en 1972 en Angleterre. Les deux autres pièces sont des face B.

This is the first UK single CD to be properly packaged with correct period pictures and informative liner notes. It
is the ultimate single CD version of Stewart's Sixties Sessions.
The first 6 tracks on this CD were recorded in 1964 as demos to get record company interest in the young Rod
'The Mod' Stewart. When Decca Records heard these tracks & saw Rod 'Live', they signed him . Tracks 7 to 11
are singles and B-sides from the 1965-68 period (rare and collectible!)
· Track 12 was recorded in 1967 (Immediate Records) with P.P. Arnold and was produced by Mick Jagger and
features, Keith Richards (Guitar & Bass) and Keith Emerson (Keyboards)
· Tracks 13, 14 & 15 feature Rod Guesting with the Australian group 'Python Lee Jackson' for the group's 1969
LP 'In A Broken Dream' as a favour to John Peel. The song 'In A Broken Dream' was a hit, reaching Number 3
in the UK charts in September 72. Tracks 14 and 15 were also coupled as an A and B side of a Python Lee
Jackson 45 in 1976, but it was not a hit.
