Reporting to the Managing Director on work in progress and making ongoing
recommendations for alignment of strategy with EFMD standards for excellence and
National Ministerial requirements for the Master Grade accreditation.
Editing and writing the EPAS Self Assessment and interim reports in collaboration with the
Managing Director. Advising management on the drawing up of documents required for
National accreditations.

Implementation of internationalisation strategy (outgoing and incoming mobility of students
and academics).

Academic interface between the institution and visiting professors for English-speaking MBA
and Grande Ecole programmes. Course design and management to ensure academic depth
and alignment of delivery and outcomes.
Connecting visiting professors with ESC Pau Faculty to generate research collaborations. A
recent example is the future creation of an International Franchise Institute with the Barton
School of Business at Wichita University, USA.
Site visits abroad, negotiating new and existing agreements. Best practice benchmarking.
Teaching duties in USA and India preparing students for academic exchanges with ESC Pau.
2001-2008: Further Education Department
Development and running of business unit (Marketing, Finance, HR, etc). At end of position
in 2008, managed a team of 8 full-time staff, up to 80 part-time trainers and a budget of €1.5
million.
Quality assurance: ISO 9001 Process Manager for the Design & Delivery of Further Education
programmes. Created processes for close analysis of customer requirements, flexible
training solutions and continuous feedback loops to ensure alignment of training solutions
with stakeholders’ changing needs. Member of Quality Assurance Board.
Management of a portfolio of more than 150 corporate clients and 1,000 mature students
per year.
Since 2001: ESC PAU Grande Ecole Programme Management Team
Participation in a number of committees and sub-committees (strategy, marketing, teaching
and learning, quality assurance).
Liaising between the Board of Governors and International partners for strategic issues.

Recruitment, course design and delivery, examination board, third stream activities
(community and company relations).
Since 1998: Teaching and Tutoring
English language instruction across all programmes.
Course design, including blended learning solutions and training of colleagues. Co-design of
online MBA programme in 1999 and creation of online ‘English for Net Business’ modules
using Encore express and Quickplace (Lotus).
