1. Plug the USB connector into the USB port on your
computer.
2. Connect a PS/2 mouse to the miniDIN
connector with green centre.
3. Connect a PS/2 keyboard to the miniDIN
connector with purple centre.
Installation for Windows 98 SE (Required
Windows System Driver)
1. Place your Windows 98 SE CD into your
CD-ROM drive.
2. Plug the USB connector into an available
USB port on your computer or USB hub.
3. Windows will detect the adapter and the Hardware
Installation Wizard will launch.
4. The Wizard will search for drivers for “USB Human
Interface Device”, click “Next”.
5. Select “Search for best driver for your device
Recommended”. Click “Next”.

6. Select “CD-ROM drive” and click “Next”.
7. Windows will locate the required drivers
on your Windows 98 installation CD.
8. Click “Finish”.
9. Repeat steps 3–6 as necessary.
