Propriétés :
• Pelotes amovibles et repositionnables en silicone (matériau assurant un meilleur confort et une
plus grande efficacité). (1)
• Tissu élastique fort. (2)
• Sangles interchangeables et réglables. (3)
• Système exclusif de boucle permettant une adaptation droite ou gauche. (4-A)
Indications :
• Hernie inguinale droite ou gauche (A).
• Hernies inguinales bilatérales (B).
• Port pré ou post-opératoire.
• Port définitif.
Instruction préalable pour bandage herniaire unilatéral :
Le bandage herniaire unilatéral peut être utilisé pour une hernie droite ou pour une hernie
gauche.
• Hernie droite
- Le bandage herniaire unilatéral est livré en position "hernie droite".
- Retirer simplement les deux guides plastiques (c) l'un après l'autre, puis se référer aux
instructions de mise en place.
• Hernie gauche
1. Enlever la sangle (a), puis la replacer sur l'autre face.
2. A l'aide des deux guides plastiques (c), tirer la boucle (d), la retourner et la replacer
(crochet métallique vers l'extérieur).
3. Retirer les deux guides plastiques l'un après l'autre (c).
4. Inverser la fixation (e).
Le bandage est en position "hernie gauche". Se référer ensuite aux instructions de mise en place.
Mise en place :
- Placer la ou les pelotes, sur la face interne, au niveau de la ou des hernies.
- Adapter le bandage au tour de taille en positionnant la fixation (e). Le bandage doit être
bien plaqué, sans serrer de façon excessive.
- Régler la longueur des sous-cuisses.
- Vérifier que les pelotes sont bien placées.
Précautions :
- Réduire la hernie avant de mettre le bandage herniaire. Pour cela, il est conseillé de s'allonger sur
le dos et de masser la hernie.
- Ne pas utiliser en cas de hernie irréductible.
Suivre les conseils du professionnel qui a prescrit ou délivré le produit. En cas d'inconfort,
consulter ce professionnel.
Stocker à température ambiante, de préférence dans la boîte d'origine.
Pour des problèmes d'hygiène et de performance, une réutilisation de ce dispositif pour le traitement
d'un autre patient est fortement déconseillée. Elle se fera sous la seule responsabilité du décideur de
cette réutilisation et entraînera automatiquement la perte de garantie de Thuasne.
Entretien :
- Laver uniquement à l'eau savonneuse, sans détergent ni eau de Javel.
- Sécher loin d'une source de chaleur.

Indications :
• For right or left inguinal hernia (A).
• Bilateral inguinal hernias (B).
• For pre- or post-operative wear.
• For permanent wear.
Prior instructions for the use of the unilateral truss :
The unilateral truss may be used for either a right-side hernia or a left-side hernia.
• Right-side hernia
- The unilateral truss is supplied in the “right-side hernia” position.
- Simply pull back the two plastic guides (c), one after the other, then refer to the fitting
instructions.
• Left-side hernia
1. Remove strap (a), then position it on the other side.
2. Using the two plastic guides (c), pull off buckle (d), turn it round and replace it (metal clip
towards the outside).
3. Pull back the two plastic guides one after the other (c).
4. Turn round the fastener (e).
The truss is in the “left-side hernia” position. Then refer to the fitting instructions.
Fitting :
- Place the pad(s) on the inside surface, against the hernia(s).
- Adjust the truss to your waist size by moving fastener (e). The truss should be firmly fitted,
without being too tight.
- Adjust the length of the thigh straps.
- Check that the pads are properly positioned.
Precautions :
- Reduce the hernia before fitting the truss. To do this, it is recommended that you lie on your
back and massage the hernia.
- Do not use for hernias which cannot be reduced.
Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed or supplied the product. Consult your
professional if discomfort occurs.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
Re-use of this device for the treatment of another patient is strictly not recommended due
to hygiene- and performance-related problems. If a decision is taken to re-use this device,
then the person taking the decision is solely responsible and the Thuasne warranty will
automatically become void.
Washing instructions :
- Wash only with soapy water, without detergent or bleach.
- Dry away from heat sources.
