Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Einbau in einen Computer vorgesehen und zeigt über das
Display verschiedene Informationen an, die über die mitgelieferte Software ausgewählt werden können. Weiterhin integriert ist eine automatische Lüftersteuerung für
4 Kanäle.
Alle enthaltenen Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.
Wenn Sie einen internen USB-Port nutzen wollen, so achten Sie auf die
richtige Belegung der Anschlussstecker, andernfalls wird der das Produkt
und auch das Mainboard zerstört In der Bedienungsanleitung zu Ihrem
Mainboard finden Sie die Belegung der Stiftleisten eines internen USBPorts.
• Lüfter können mit den 3poligen Anschlüssen verbunden werden. Alternativ liegen
Adapterkabel für Lüfter mit 5.25"-Stromanschluss bei.
• Verbinden Sie den 5.25"-Stromanschluss des zu Beginn angesteckten
Spezialkabels mit einem passenden Stecker des ATX-Netzteils.
• Kontrollieren Sie nochmals die Verbindung aller Kabel. Verlegen Sie die Kabel so,
dass sie nicht in einen Lüfter des Computers gelangen, verwenden Sie
Kabelbinder zur Fixierung.
• Verschließen Sie das Computergehäuse und verbinden Sie Ihren Computer mit der
Netzspannung und schalten Sie alle Geräte ein.

Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen
Sie den Einbau von einer FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden
Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Durch unsachgemäßen Einbau wird sowohl das Produkt als auch Ihr
Computer und alle angeschlossenen Geräte beschädigt.
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den das Produkt eingebaut werden
soll und alle angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle
Geräte von der Netzspannung, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das
Ausschalten über den Ein-/Ausschalter genügt nicht!
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers und nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel
vorsichtig ab.

• Fans can be connected with the 3-pin plugs. Alternatively, use the fan adapter
cables with the 5.25" power connector, which have been supplied.
• Connect the 5.25" power connector of the special power cable already connected
to an appropriate plug on the ATX power unit.
• Recheck all cable connections. Secure all cables so that they cannot become entangled in the fan of the computer. Use cable ties to fix them in place.
Intended use
This product is intended for installation in a computer and displays information
which can be selected using the software supplied. An automatic fan control for 4
channels has also been integrated.
• Close the computer case and connect your computer to the mains supply and
switch all devices on.

Scope of delivery
• If the computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all settings and cable connections.
Before opening the computer case again, disconnect the computer
from the mains supply (see above).

Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein.
Nach dem Start der Hardwareerkennung findet Windows die passenden Treiber auf
der CD und installiert sie. Danach ist die Software selbst zu installieren. Falls die
Softwareinstallation nicht automatisch gestartet ist, führen Sie das Programm
"Install.exe" auf der CD aus. Folgen Sie allen Anweisungen.
Diese Vorgehensweise könnte sich bei neueren Versionen der CD evtl. ändern.

(Controlling the display exclusively with this software is possible. A current
Windows operating system is required, for example, Windows XP)

• The software can show a great variety of information on the display, for example,
memory data, CPU data, time, etc.
• There is also a plug-in to Winamp in the delivery scope so that the volume indicator and, if applicable, also the song title can be displayed.
If Winamp is installed after the control software has been installed, the necessary
plug-in must be copied manually into the plug-in directory for Winamp (see English
version of manual, p. 21).
Before Winamp data can be sent to the display, the plug-in must be activated.
Also, in Winamp "Preferences" select the domain "Visualisation" under "Plug-ins"
and activate the plug-in "LIS Control-Center".
• A maximum current of about 0.8A is available for each fan. The use of fans with a
greater current will destroy the product.
• Do not adjust the plug-in jumper on the circuit board.
Vor dem erneuten Öffnen des Computergehäuses ist der Computer
von der Netzspannung zu trennen, siehe oben!
Tipps & Hinweise
• In der engl. Anleitung finden Sie umfangreiche Hinweise zu den verschiedenen
Funktionen der Software.
• Die Software kann viele verschiedene Informationen auf das Display ausgeben,
beispielsweise Daten zu Speicher, CPU, Uhrzeit uvm.
• Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist auch ein Plug-In zu Winamp, so dass die
Aussteuerungsanzeige und ggf. auch der Liedtitel angezeigt werden können.
Falls Winamp erst nach der Installation der Steuersoftware installiert wird, so
muss das benötigte Plug-In von Hand in das Plug-In-Verzeichnis von Winamp
kopiert werden, siehe engl. Anl. auf Seite 21.
Damit Winamp Daten an das Display liefert, muss das Plug-In gestartet werden. In
den Eigenschaften ("Preferences") von Winamp ist dazu unter "Plug-ins" der
Bereich "Visualization" auszuwählen und das Plug-In "LIS Control-Center" zu
starten.
• Pro Lüfteranschluss steht ein Maximalstrom von ca. 0,8A zur Verfügung. Die
Verwendung von Lüftern mit höherem Strom führt zur Zerstörung des Produkts.
• Die Steckbrücken auf der Platine dürfen nicht verstellt werden.
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
• Achtung, verbinden Sie zuerst das mitgelieferte Spezial-Stromkabel (5.25"Anschluss auf 4poligen Mini-Stecker) mit dem zugehörigen Anschluss "C"
(siehe engl. Anleitung des Herstellers, Seite 5) der Platine. Der Anschluss auf
der Platine ist mit "JP3" bzw. "5V GND GND +12V" beschriftet).

• Startet der Computer nicht richtig, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren
Sie sämtliche Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen.
Entsorgung
• Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung eines 5.25"-Einbauschachtes. Eventuell muss
zusätzlich eine Metallabschirmung innen im Einbauschacht entfernt werden.
Abhängig vom verwendeten Computergehäuse ist dazu die Entfernung der kompletten Frontblende erforderlich.
Installation
If you have no specialist knowledge of installation procedures,
arrange for the installation to be carried out by a SPECIALIST or an
appropriate specialist shop.
Incorrect installation will damage the product, your computer and
all connected devices.
Caution, danger of fatal injury!
Disposal
When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with
the applicable statutory regulations.
• Open the case of your computer and remove the cover carefully.
• Remove the cover of an empty 5.25" drive bay. There may be metal shielding in
the drive bay, which also needs to be removed. Depending on the computer case,
the front panel might have to be removed completely.
• Note: First connect the special power cable (5.25" connector to 4-pin mini
plug) to port "C" (see page 5. of the manufacturer's manual in English) on
the circuit board. The port on the circuit board is labelled "JP3" or "5V GND
GND +12V".
Der wie ein 3.5"-Stromanschluss aussehende Stecker auf der Platine
dient als Anschluss für das USB-Kabel! Bei falschem Anschluss wird das
Produkt zerstört, Verlust von Garantie/Gewährleistung!
Switch off the computer in which the product is to be installed and
all connected devices. Disconnect all devices from the mains supply
and pull out the mains plug. Switching off using the on/off switch is
not enough!
Insert the CD supplied in the appropriate drive of your computer. After starting hardware recognition, Windows finds the correct driver on the CD and installs it. After that,
you can install the software yourself. If the software installation program does not
start automatically, open the file "Install.exe" on the CD. Follow all instructions.
This procedure may differ for later versions of the CD.
The plug that looks like a 3.5" power connector on the circuit board is the
connector for the USB cable. The product will be destroyed if it is incorrectly connected up, and warranty/guarantee will lapse.
• Connect the other cables. Corresponding illustrations for this are in the English
version of the manual. Depending on whether you choose to use an internal USB
port on the motherboard or a conventional USB type A port, you can use the corresponding USB connecting cable.
• Schließen Sie die anderen Kabel an. In der engl. Anleitung finden Sie dazu entsprechende Abbildungen. Je nachdem, ob Sie einen internen USB-Port auf dem
Mainboard oder eine herkömmliche USB-Typ-A-Buchse nutzen wollen, können
Sie das entsprechende USB-Anschlusskabel verwenden.
• Slide the module into the bay of the computer case and screw it in tightly.
• Connect the cables to their corresponding ports.
• Schieben Sie das Modul in den Einbauschacht des PC-Gehäuses und schrauben
Sie es fest.
• Verbinden Sie die Kabel mit den entsprechenden Anschlüssen.

Ce produit est conçu pour être monté sur un ordinateur et affiche sur écran différentes informations pouvant être sélectionnées via le logiciel fourni avec le produit.
Une commande de ventilateur automatique pour 4 canaux est en outre intégrée au
produit.

Si vous souhaitez utiliser un port USB interne, veillez à l'affectation correcte des connecteurs, sinon le produit et la carte mère seront endommagés. Vous trouverez l'affectation des barrettes à broches d'un port USB
interne dans le mode d'emploi de votre carte mère.
• Les ventilateurs peuvent être reliés à des raccordements à 3 pôles. Sinon, vous
pouvez utiliser les câbles adaptateurs pour ventilateur avec raccordement électrique de 5,25" fournis avec le produit.
• Reliez le raccordement électrique de 5,25" du câble spécial branché au début
avec un connecteur correspondant du bloc d'alimentation ATX.
• Contrôlez à nouveau la liaison de tous les câbles. Disposez les câbles de manière
à ce qu'ils ne pénètrent pas dans un ventilateur de l'ordinateur, utilisez des serrecâbles pour les fixer.
• Refermez ensuite le boîtier de l'ordinateur, branchez l'ordinateur sur la tension
secteur et mettez tous les appareils en marche.
• Si votre ordinateur ne démarre pas correctement, éteignez-le immédiatement et
contrôlez tous les réglages, ainsi que les raccordements de câbles.
Avant d'ouvrir à nouveau le boîtier de votre ordinateur, débranchez-le
de la tension secteur, voir plus haut !
Installation des pilotes et du logiciel
Caractéristiques

Insérez le CD fourni dans le lecteur correspondant de votre ordinateur. Après le
démarrage de reconnaissance de matériel, Windows trouve le pilote adéquat sur le
CD et l'installe. Installez ensuite le logiciel. Au cas où l'installation de logiciel ne
démarre pas automatiquement, exécutez le programme « Install.exe » sur le CD.
Suivez toutes les instructions.
Il est possible que la méthode d’installation soit différente avec des versions
plus récentes du CD.
Conseils & indications
Montage
Si vous n'avez pas les connaissances spécialisées nécessaires pour
le montage, veuillez confier cette opération à un SPECIALISTE ou à
un atelier spécialisé !
Un raccordement incorrect est susceptible d'endommager non seulement le produit, mais aussi votre ordinateur et tous les appareils
qui y sont raccordés.
Attention, danger de mort!
Eteignez l'ordinateur sur lequel le produit doit être monté, ainsi que
tous les appareils connectés, et les débrancher du secteur en retirant les fiches des prises de courant ! La mise hors circuit de l'appareil par le biais de l'interrupteur marche/arrêt ne suffit pas !
• Ouvrez le boîtier de votre ordinateur et retirez son couvercle avec précaution.
• Retirez le cache du logement de montage de 5,25". Il est possible qu'une protection métallique à l'intérieur du logement doivent également être retirée. A cet effet,
en fonction du boîtier de PC utilisé, il peut être nécessaire de retirer l'ensemble du
cache avant.
• Dans le mode d'emploi anglais, vous trouverez des remarques complètes relatives
aux différentes fonctions du logiciel.
• Le logiciel peut afficher de nombreuses informations différentes à l'écran, par
exemple des données relatives à la mémoire, la CPU, l'horloge etc.
• Le produit est livré avec un Plug-In pour Winamp, pour permettre l'affichage de
contrôle de niveau et éventuellement le titre du morceau.
En cas d'installation Winamp ultérieure à celle du logiciel de commande, vous
devez copier le Plug-In requis dans le répertoire Plug-In de Winamp, voir le mode
d'emploi en anglais page 21.
Pour que Winamp fournisse des données à l'écran, vous devez démarrer le PlugIn. Pour cela, sous le point de menu Propriétés (« Favoris ») de Winamp, sous
« Plug-ins », sélectionnez le champ « Visualisation », et démarrez le Plug-In
« LIS Control-Center ».
• Un courant maximum d'env. 0,8 A est disponible pour chaque prise ventilateur.
L'utilisation de ventilateurs avec un courant supérieur endommage le produit.
• Ne modifiez pas les cavaliers sur la platine.
Elimination des éléments usés
Il convient de procéder à l'élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de
vie conformément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur.
• Attention, reliez en premier le câble électrique spécial fourni avec le produit (raccordement 5,25" sur un mini-connecteur à 4 pôles) au raccordement
« C » correspondant (voir le mode d'emploi en anglais du fabricant, page 5)
de la platine. Le raccordement sur la platine porte l'inscription « JP3 »ou
« 5V GND GND +12 V »).
Le connecteur sur la platine qui ressemble à un raccordement électrique
3,5" sert de raccordement au câble USB ! En cas de mauvais raccordement, le produit est endommagé, ce qui annule toute garantie !
• Raccordez les autres câbles. Vous trouverez les illustrations correspondantes
dans le mode d'emploi en anglais. En fonction de l'utilisation envisagée : port USB
interne sur la carte mère ou douille USB traditionnelle de type A, vous pouvez utiliser le câble de raccordement USB correspondant.
• Insérez le module dans le logement du boîtier d'ordinateur et vissez-le.
• Reliez les câbles aux raccords correspondants.
