Synopsis
Bien qu’ayant perdu son travail, Michel vit heureux avec Marie-Claire. Ces deux-là s’aiment depuis trente ans… Leurs enfants
et leurs petits-enfants les comblent… Ils ont des amis très proches… Ils sont fiers de leurs combats syndicaux et politiques…
Leurs consciences sont aussi transparentes que leurs regards. Ce bonheur va voler en éclats avec leur porte-fenêtre devant
deux hommes armés et masqués qui les frappent, les attachent, leur arrachent leurs alliances, et s’enfuient avec leurs cartes
de crédit. Leur désarroi sera d’autant plus violent lorsqu’ils apprendront que cette brutale agression a été organisée par l’un
des jeunes ouvriers licenciés en même temps que Michel, par l’un des leurs… Michel et Marie-Claire vont peu à peu découvrir
les raisons qui l'ont poussé à agir ainsi. Mais comment le monde a-t-il pu tant changer pour que les "pauvres gens" s'en
prennent aux leurs ?
Even though he lost his job, Michel lives a happy life with Marie-Claire. Those two have loved each other for 30 years. They
find fulfillment in their children and grandchildren.. They have some very close friends.. They are proud of the union and
political battles they have been involved in.. Their consciences are as transparent as their looks. This happiness is about to be
shattered, along with their patio door, when two masked gunmen beat them, tie them up, pull off their wedding rings, and
flee with their credit cards. Their distress is even greater when they learn that this brutal attack was organized by one of the
young workers who lost his job at the same time as Michel, in other words, by one of their own... Michel and Marie-Claire
gradually discover the reasons that led him to do what he did. But how could the world have changed so much that the
"poor" are attacking their own people?

Synopsis
Quelque part en Picardie, le patron d'une entreprise de cintres vide son usine dans la nuit pour la délocaliser. Le lendemain, les ouvrières se réunissent et mettent le peu d'argent de leurs indemnités dans un projet
commun : faire buter le patron par un professionnel.
Somewhere in Picardy, the boss of a company that makes coat-hangers empties his factory during the
night and moves it to a new location. The next day, the workers get together and put what little money
they have from their compensation toward a common project: to have the boss taken out by a professional
killer.
