Annual Assembly of the world’s lawyers in Valencia, Spain
Valencia will host the 59th Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA – International Association of
Lawyers) Congress from October 28th to November 1st. This year two themes will be addressed in the
plenary sessions :
- Trademark and Sports Law
- Immigration Law
30 other supplementary sessions concerning business law, legal practice and human rights law will
take place in the Palacio de Congreso. They will be led by nearly 300 international speakers.
The majority of the sessions will have simultaneous translation in French, English and Spanish to
allow for maximum engagement. Social events are scheduled to facilitate meeting others and making
professional contacts.
