Trattoria 2015 23-25 Mars 2015 à Lille Simulateurs 3D de systèmes LIDAR et RADAR Doppler embarqués sur plateformes satellites F. Szczap(1), A. Alkasem(1), C. Cornet(2), O. Jourdan(1) and V. Shcherbakov(1) (1) Laboratoire de Météorologie Physique (LaMP), Université Blaise Pascal, Aubière, France (2) Laboratoire d‘Optique Atmosphérique (LOA), Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, Villeneuve d‘Ascq, France Méthodologie Contexte scientifique Nous développons un code tridimensionnel (3D) polarisé (Szczap et al., 2013) prenant en compte l’effet Doppler et la diffusion multiple. Il est basé sur 3DMCPOL (Cornet et al., 2010, voir aussi le poster « A 3D polarized radiative transfer model » de Cornet et al.) qui utilise une méthode de Monte Carlo, l’estimation locale et une méthode de réduction de la variance (Buras et al., 2011). Il calcule le vecteur de Stokes ;∆ en fonction de la profondeur et du décalage de fréquence ∆ . A court terme, le code doit simuler les observables du LIDAR ATLID et du RADAR CRP Doppler de la mission EarthCARE (coefficient de rétrodiffusion à très haute résolution spectrale, facteur de réflectivité, spectre Doppler, etc…). Les scènes nuageuses à très haute résolution spatiale sont simulées par 3DCLOUD (Szczap et al., 2014). De part leur répétitivité spatio-temporelle, les observations spatiales sont des données de prédilection pour améliorer la climatologie des nuages. Les systèmes LIDAR et RADAR embarqués sur plateformes satellites sont des instruments permettant d’obtenir des informations crutiales sur la distribution verticale des propriétés des nuages. L’interprétation des observables LIDAR et RADAR est délicate car elle repose sur au moins deux hypothèses : 1) la diffusion multiple est négligée et 2) le nuage, plan parallèle, est homogène à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur du champ de vue (Field Of View ou FOV).
