Dat Zeebrugge een wereldhaven van formaat is, wist je vast wel, maar
deze Brugse uithoek is nog zoveel meer. Je vindt hier bijvoorbeeld een
uitgestrekt strand, goed voor een nonchalant vakantiesfeertje, authentieke visserswijken met onvervalste visserscafeetjes en een mondaine
jachthaven. Bovendien kun je in Zeebrugge aansluiten op de kustfietsroute die alle Belgische badsteden met elkaar verbindt of opteren voor
het fietsnetwerk van het Brugse Ommeland.
Zeebrugge ligt ook vlakbij het pittoreske dorpje Lissewege (5km) en de
mondaine badstad Knokke-Heist (5km).
Eurolines:Havenrondvaart Je vaart langs de marinebasis en de
Pierre Vandammesluis (een van de grootste sluizen ter wereld), passeert de LNG-terminal, het windturbinepark en ziet hoe immense
containerboten aan– en afvaren.
Seafront:In dit maritieme themapark, gesitueerd in de oude vismijn,
leer je bij over de geschiedenis van de Zeebrugse haven en kan je een
bezoekje nemen aan een Russche duikboot Foxtrot en het lichtschip De
West-Hinder.

mondial. C’est aussi une plage s’étendant à perte de vue, des quartiers
de pêcheurs plus varies que variés et un port de plaisance. Vous
pourrez emprunter le parcours cyclotouriste qui relie toutes les stations
balnéaires belges, ou encore vous lancer dans le circuit cyclotouriste de
l’arrière-pays brugois. Zeebruges est aussi tout près du village
pittoresque Lissewege (5km) et la station balnéaire mondaine KnokkeHeist (5km).

Vous passerez à côté de la base navale et de l’écluse Pierre Vandamme
(une des plus grandes du monde), longerez le terminal LNG, le parc à
éoliennes et vous aurez l’occasion d’observer les arrivées et départs de
porte-conteneurs gigantesques.
Seafront:Dans ce parc thématique maritime, idéalement situé au sein
de l’ancien port de pêche, vous découvrez l’histoire du port de Zeebruges. Vous pouvez aussi visiter le sous-marin russe Foxtrot et le
bateau-feu West-Hinder

You already know that Zeebrugge is a world port, but this remote
corner of Bruges is much more. It has an extensive beach for example,
good for a nonchalant holiday, and genuine fishing districts with
unadulterated fishermen’s cafes and a fashionable marina. In
Zeebrugge you can join the coastal cycling route, or take the cycling
network of the Bruges’ wet– and woodlands.
Eurolines: port cruise
You will sail along the naval base and the Pierre Vandamme lock (one
of the largest locks in the world), go past the LNG terminal, the wind
farm, and watch the immense container boats sail in and out.
Seafront: In this maritime theme park, aptly located in the old fish
market, you learn something about the history of Zeebrugge port. You
also visit the Russian submarine Foxtrot, and the lightship West
Hinder.
