But bridging the digital divide between rich and poor countries is not just about making a cheap product, it is also about making it usable in areas that have unstable electricity supplies, poor transport systems, and few trained computer technicians. The scientists of Massachusetts Institute of Technology aim to overcome these problems. They are developing innovative ways of powering the machines, such as through the action of typing. The laptops are also being designed to be as robust as military equipment to prevent them being damaged in transit on poor roads. Thévenon, Belemsaga D.M.A. Une alternative à ces méthodes est donc l’élevage d’animaux SIST project, Information Bulletin #6 page 6 Scientific and Technical Information System Support the planning and development of information and communication systems for education and research institutions in twelve countries from the Priority Solidarity Area General Directorate for International Cooperation and Development (DgCiD) trypanotolérants qui ont l’aptitude à survivre et produire en milieu à forte pression trypanosomienne. SIST project, Information Bulletin #6 page 7 Scientific and Technical Information System Support the planning and development of information and communication systems for education and research institutions in twelve countries from the Priority Solidarity Area General Directorate for International Cooperation and Development (DgCiD) • • M. DIANOU Dayeri, Chargé de recherche en microbiologie, spécialiste du volet parasitose.
