Le projet consiste en l’organisation de chantiers coopératifs de jeunes francophones bénévoles ayant pour
thématique l’eau et la sauvegarde du patrimoine naturel. L’échange concerne des jeunes entre 13 et 18
ans. A travers un projet collectif, il s’agit de valoriser et de promouvoir la Francophonie auprès des jeunes
et de les sensibiliser aux enjeux environnementaux.

OBJECTIVE

The starting situation or local context in which the projects is going to operate
Le projet est initié par l’association P.A.R.C. de Breteuil-sur-Iton (Département de l’Eure – Normandie).
Ayant déjà organisé en 2014 et 2015 des chantiers réciproques de jeunes avec le Québec, l’association
renouvelle l’expérience dans le cadre de la programmation Leader 2016-2021.
Un premier chantier s’est déroulé en août 2016. Il a concerné une quarantaine de jeunes entre 13 et 18 ans issus
de deux territoires français. Pour la Normandie, le chantier est porté par l’association PARC de Breteuil-sur-Iton.
Pour la Charente maritime, le chantier est porté par l’association le CASTEL de St Pierre d’Oléron en collaboration
avec Le Foyer Rural de St Denis d’Oléron.

Le contenu et l’organisation des chantiers seront définis entre les partenaires.
Lors du premier chantier, les jeunes étaient accompagnés d’une équipe d’encadrants composée pour chaque
structure partenaire, d’un directeur, d’un animateur-ados, d’un animateur multimédia et d’un animateur nature et
environnement. Sur chaque lieu, un temps de sensibilisation historique ainsi que les enjeux et objectifs du chantier
ont été expliqués aux jeunes bénévoles. Les jeunes ont également pu créer des outils de communication pour
informer la population sur la nature des travaux menés (panneaux…). Pendant le séjour, des temps d’activités et de
cohésion étaient proposés aux jeunes telles que balades et visites, activité surf ou char à voile, baignade, pêche…
