Émile PÉREZ
Émile PÉREZ leads the International Cooperation Department, the first
joint active directorate of the French Police and Gendarmerie. The
International Cooperation Department (DCI) is the main service that is
involved in applying the minister's international strategy and the
implementing France's foreign policy on internal security. Through its
unique network of police attachés posted in 74 countries covering 157
States, DCI leads and coordinates operational, technical and institutional
cooperation on behalf of the Police and Gendarmerie, and technical
cooperation for the rest of the Ministry of the Interior.
Born in 1956 at Sidi-Bel-Abbès (Algeria), Émile PÉREZ is married to Marie-Ange GUINAND.
They have two children and live in Paris.
